PRX, the most stable core in Valorant present or past. Way too easy to root for a team that doesnt change players often, and plays a style completely unique and a true pleasure to watch.

There is a "play-in" since we wont see 2g/G2 at ascension. Each region (NA, LATAM N, LATAM S) are each sending an extra team into a play-in, and 2 of those 3 will make it into the normal ascension

2g does not have to beat sen, only that FURIA 2-1 EG exactly. a 2-0 for furia puts furia in UNLESS 2g beats sen

winning a map means nothing to 2g they would need to beat SEN and STILL need furia to beat EG, but the score of EGvFUR wouldnt matter if 2g beats sen

i believe so. in the first two stages they have played the 3-3 matches immediately after they know whos playing (the day after) so it should be the 14th is when those 2 or 3 matches will be

if they have a match, they have a chance. its swiss. . AKA "win 4 before you lose 4" hence the teams with 4 wins are in playoffs and the teams with 4 losses are eliminated. These 2 just gotta win twice in a row to make playoffs now

its way less about performance and more about financials. . Teams like Gentle Mates who keep spending money to try and stay in Tier 1 will likely get the slot over a team like Koi who really dont appear to care very much

whats crazy is that while Furia SHOULD be relegated. . im not sure they will be. there have been no brazilian challengers teams who have fielded rosters long term. 2G is the only one who's been around for more than a year because they won ascension so :/ unless riot is fine lowering the # of brazil teams down to 2 (mibr/loud) then i think furia stays

FWIW i think furia should just be kicked and replaced by an NA/LATAM team because the talent in tier 1 brazil is too diluted already, so maybe just having 2 really good teams will be better

They would be 2-1 in the stage if they had just been playing double duelist all stage. .

They have played double duelist on TWO MAPS all year (in VCT events) and beat Liquid in kickoff and took FNC to overtime in stage 1. .

Love the penny pickup, but this team had Flor and Batu and never capitalized. .

What a waste tbh, they deserve to be relegated for how poorly they have been coached and managed this season, hope these players get picked up by better orgs who come in next year <3

So they are looking plenty fine for a champs spot and they should pick up 2-3 more wins this stage and be fine :)

For KRU to not make it, they would need either SEN or G2 to bomb out of playoffs and for someone below them in points to finish top 2

Obviously there are plenty of niche cases where any number of things could happen, but thats the most realistic

the players will go orgless for a bit. The 3 who didnt get grabbed by LEV (so Wedid, Bdog, and Victor remaining) will go out, find a couple buddies to fill the spots and play the game as normal

with that said, TSM should absolutely wipe the floor with this one

they have said they will relegate teams after next year. i think the specific wording was that they would "review which orgs were investing the most into the scene and reinvent into those orgs by giving them partner spots"

so yeah, FURIA needs to get their shit together or they will be replaced by someone like M80, TSM or Shopify (unless they ascend ofc)
