Chet specifically i feel isnt that good of a coach, he said he would turn tsm around cause he was the best coach there was and then edned up running away because he didnt believe in them. I think Envy wouldve gotten to where they were regardless of if chet was on the team or not

honestly dude yea, the improvement they made in one day from agaiunst the guard to almost winning aggainst V1 on all maps. I think if this is what they look like while they arent properly practicing and only having one day of serious prep, I believe they still have the insane potential it takes to get to the top. If this is one day prep I wanna see 2 month prep and what thats gonna look like. Im looking forward to what SEN can bring in challengers 2 and masters 2. Hope they can finally win Chaps as well

I completely agree with you actually. I think Optic are still best team in NA where theyre in a similar boat to sen (prime sen) where they dont really perform unless theyre really under the pressure to do so.
The Guard is good though it just seemed like they werent ready for a top tier team like C9 however I do feel like they will get better with time and with more experience against the best of the best which is why i hope they make it to lan... unless sen pulls out the clutchest of clutches out of nowhere, in which case i would love to see them back in another lan with their streak ongoing of being a part of every single valorant lan

Lastsly, and definitely the least, C9. I definitely think C9 are not htat good especially due to their over reliance on leaf and how leaf is just constantly getting 1v4s out of no where for C9 and keeping their morale up and also their round scores. The amount of crazy shit leaf pulls of while the entire team just got wiped is such an integral factor to C9 winning so many of their games. The biggest offense to this was the TL game where leaf was just a monster and none of C9 were able to do anything against TLs pushes.
Personally I dont want to see C9 on Lan cause i still think they are quite a messy and as vanity puts it, "a bad team"

you are out of your mind if you actually watched that match and can say that Optic were the ones that were lucky. There were so many rounds that C9 got through by a single thread when they really shouldnt have.

The format for all the tournaments has always been the same, the regions best are representing their region so that they can prove that they deserve more slots, has SA done that? To my knowledge NO. Their best even lost to a mediocre SEA and KR team. Thats just proof that adding more slots wont do shit. SEA slots got increased cause the SEA teams in Champs proved thaat they deserved it by going at the top dogs and going toe to toe with them.

the percentage of teams doesnt matter when only the best teams can represent your region. If I put 99% every region other than CIS agaainst Gambit, there is not doubt in my mind thaat Gambit will still come out on top, theyre the best of CIS and theyre the best in the world PERIOD. Percentage is something that is being eliminated by the formats of tournaments due to only allowing the best of the best to compete.

FMAB is actually really good. It isnt my favourite not by a long shot, but i agree that it does deserve at least top 3 simply because it has no flaws and everything it does is executed well. The fact that Wardell held back on ego peeking to wait for the regroup with the sova so that they would be able to fight together was something I would never have expected to see from Wardell. The biggest problem imo was just them whiffing probably due to nerves, that is something that gets fixed with experience in higher level play which id say BBG was on the way to achieving.
