Because Acend is a fluke and now you can see it's not even EU bias is literally just facts

posted about 2 years ago

Because unlike optics third place fpx in fourth actually had competitive and we'll played matches. Placements have absolutely no bearing on how good a team actually are, it's the actual match itself and how the team plays that dictate how good of a team they are. Fpx literally played the best map against drx. Literally at a skill level we almost never see in vct whilst optic really just played like dog water in Copenhagen and fluked it to third. Also their only first place was in a tournament where the strongest region didn't have it's top 3 reps

posted about 2 years ago

Not in drx but just disappointed in general. The last thing I would've wanted was to have a repeat finals/match against 2 teams that have had the most boring matches in vct history.
Ngl I'm not even watching gf, I just pray loud win

Team play isn't strategy. Though I do believe that it's much more important than strategy. All the heavy stratting teams have fallen, M3C, FNC, EG, 100T, PRX, ZETA, LEV. Apart from PRX and FNC none of them have really achieved anything at all. Heavy strats just aren't a sustainable way of playing in pro play cause you always have to keep rebuilding from the ground up every tourney especially if you hit top 3.
The only team who were able to keep it up for a long time was Gambit/M3C but they eventually felt the huge burnout from it and they just fell off

posted about 2 years ago

Dude all the top 4 teams are all aim no brain. Closest one to brain is drx but watch their match and their strategies are actually very minimal (until combos are NOT strats), a lot of the reasons for their wins are their insane gunplay and chemistry with each other. Fpx were a more extreme example of that where they just keep taking a ton of fights and just keep winning.
The most strat heavy team this year we're FNC and you can see how poorly they did. It's not a sustainable way of playing the game especially because of how effective anti stratting is against that kind of style. FNC needed to be able to win without all their strats but their players just didn't have good enough games.

no dude, KRU are ass without onur, he was the entire reason for their run in champs last year

FNC literally beat them EVERY MATCH in regionals and once on LAN (in a row)
3 times in regionals 1 time on LAN

Match 1: 2-1 (13-3 | 5-13 | 13-10)
Match 2: 2-1 (13-6 | 12-14 | 13-9)
Match 3: 3-0 (15-13 | 13-5 | 15-13)
Match 4: 2-0 (13-10 | 13-4)

posted about 2 years ago

The thing is their peak this year alongside FNCs peak this year hasnt been met yet by any other team.

posted about 2 years ago

idk abt the FPX one tho, M3C and FNC both had higher peaks than FPX and while M3C fell off right after FNC definitely were still in form for a while they just didnt get a chance to show it on the stage. I think FNC have fallen from their form in Stage 1 and 2 regionals and its so sad cause that FNC wouldve mopped up all these teams in Champs tho i dont think theyre even gonna make it out of groups if they keep playing liek they are rn.
Also i dont know about optic being the undisputed best in NA, 100T are actually for real good. I think if they faced the optic rn 100T would win simply because they dont allow you to make comebacks like they just did against loud.

WHY TF IS THERE A SEN TARIK VIDEO ON MY FUCKING FEEED WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON????

posted about 2 years ago

you dont have to get to a lan to be top 20. Sick didnt get to a lan but id definitely still put him up there (on the flex role)

posted about 2 years ago

ur literally trolling, Shao had so much more impact than anyone else in that tourney. Suygetsu is good for like 2-3 rounds a map and sometimes doesnt show up at all.

this is more copium than sen fr fr

who are you?

posted about 2 years ago

thats because they have easy potential to be number 1 but they just keep throwing everything. They shouldve won last years champs

not rlly, i couldnt even read the title. I only clicked on it cause i was reading a bunch of champs threads

Technically Derek has been to the previous lcq LAN even if it wasn't "LAN"

Mistic just had a bad tourney imo and boaster has been doing good. They definitely have the players now they just need the consistency. Their protocols are great and the set plays in challengers were amazing but they didn't use them in masters which was their biggest downfall. It also just looked like they were really panicked and not focused

posted about 2 years ago

That's not my point. They didn't even execute their strats that they worked so hard on. It's like they forgot all of it. They played really poorly and if they played like they did in masters, in challengers, they would've lost for sure

posted about 2 years ago

also the storylines since masters 2 has been shattered so you just proved why they won't win

posted about 2 years ago

100t hasn't been great so I agree. Sen would've beat them if they didn't start the series so poorly. Even till the end honestly they didn't look like they did against TG and SR so it's a shame that they lost by 1 round.

posted about 2 years ago

Honestly alll they needed to do in masters was play like they did in challengers and they would've won easily. They just fell so flat

posted about 2 years ago

Thank God they finally disband. They're trash fr

posted about 2 years ago

Agreed, they kinda threw it against TG and 100t ngl. They very easily could've won against 100t had they just started out the game better, especially shroud. Bro was asleep the whole game fr. I don't know if it's cause he was sick or what but it's a shame honestly.
The guard was a little harder and they could've closed it out but they were already playing at a really good level so I'll give it to the guard

posted about 2 years ago

true true. Its just like how Loud are actually bottom 12 cause they finished in the bottom 12 and how Xset are top 8 cause they finished top 8.

posted about 2 years ago

I dont think so. From what weve seen of sick on smokes hes been REALLY bad. Hes throwin so many rounds and i dont know if hes trying to compensate for the firepower or whatever but just based on how hes done on smokes previously ive been majorly disappointed especially on attack halfs. I think Shroud did better on Smokes than Sick did back in stage 2. If they arent able to keep zellsis i would love to see sick back on flex

posted about 2 years ago

Id say theyre also above 100T, it was just an unusually bad game for them the other day. Also I dont like this excuse when ppl bring it up cause i dont think it affects play that much but p much half the squad was sick on the day. (now that i think about it, maybe thats why shroud looked like he was literally asleep in that game)

posted about 2 years ago

NGL with the way NRG, EG, SR, and C9 were looking yes, i would say so. Also I think they wouldve won against 100T if they played the way they did against SR but they had an unbelievably slow start to the point that they only really turned on at the end of Haven.

posted about 2 years ago

yea idk why hes the duelist now, i feel like that role doesnt fit him at all. Hes a safe player and a clutch player, he needs to play for mid round and end round so that he can get full impact. I play in a similar style to where im really weak early round but once theres more solid info im able to really help my team. I think this isnt gonna work cause rn its looking like theyre just fighting a bunch of 1v1s

posted about 2 years ago

I'm not proud, bro did so bad in this match, he looked like he was literally asleep

bruh this is at the same time a bop and a flop

I dont care which region is where, all i know is that Sideshow and Bren are PEAK casters. The only thing they lack is hype for the result of a match

man this fucking sucks bruh, i was feeling good as well tonight

mine is also disabled i think its a SEA problem

Ngl I take this TG 2-0 Faze
If not then it's TG 1-2 Faze and SEN rematch win against TG in the lowers

posted about 2 years ago

this team yes but specifically for Moose and Bdog and MAYBE Mada, theyll probably make franchising or at least they deserve to make franchising

posted about 2 years ago

Moose and Bdog specifically are the gems of LG/SR. They deserve to both make franchising

posted about 2 years ago

tbf curry used to be cracked but nowadays he just doesnt perform any better than his average good performance. Most players fluctuate up and down but curry either plays at his mediocre good level or plays at a bad level.

posted about 2 years ago

He never said closer = better, he's just saying the competition is there whilst as in EMEA the 8th team would have NO CHANCE in beating the 4th best team. It's just a lot more fun to watch. Not taking a look at the scoreboard anyone with a brain would be able to tell that this region is no joke, they have crazy execs and the confidence is massive in winning out the rounds which always makes the rounds super back and forth. No team backs down just because they got destroyed the previous round it's just banger after banger

posted about 2 years ago

You clearly don't watch SEA if you genuinely believe that. If you're talking about a year ago then sure but the SEA competition has risen A LOT. It's a Mishmash of so many different styles and the coordination is unlike any other region (other than Drx when they're in good form).
