I was a fan ever since Trent joined The Guard. The reason I’m a fan of trent is because he is simply the player of the people. He didn’t come from a previous esport. He played on a garbage PC, 60 hz, and he used the most budget gaming peripherals possible from Amazon. His first gaming PC was the gaming PC The Guard gave him when they signed him. In that sense, he’s so inspirational, going from a random to the best NA initiator.

Also most importantly, The Guard basically redefined the NA scene. Before The Guard, we had lazy bums on NA teams like SEN, which didn’t even scrim a ton, compared to TGRD which worked hard every day like Optic. They made this region way less lazy

3. neT, 2nd best player on The Guard at Ascension, called ct sides at ascension, main igled when they played Breeze. Non-Guard fans will never understand how important neT was to their playstyle/identity
4. Tex, only teammate in 2023 who went toe to toe with trent statistically, only rating him this low cuz he truly was a merchant of the Guard’s system. He is proof against the narrative that the G2 system doesn’t make their duelists play well
