Ngl, did not see this potentially going to all three, but M80 are giving up so many advantages, they're practically inviting Galorys
Well, that's heartbreaking
Two ways to look at this: Insane throw by M80 (particularly the rounds at 6-2 and 11-6) or lukxo making an insane comeback possible for his team
Yeah, that was the implication here, winning this on Haven defense against Barca with all the momentum is gonna be brutally difficult
Same thing as yesterday against Apeks for CGN
5-1 start on Haven, lost a round they really shouldn't have, end the half 6-6
That 3v1 loss in the retake was an absolute neckbreaker for CGN, they're just a bit too slow for Barca, unfortunately
Yeeeah, but 2-5 to 6-6 at the same time...again
And attack should favour Apeks now
9-7, actually, Apeks won the second pistol plus conversion, CGN had to recover six straight
Good morale on Lotus, but I have a bad feeling the choke on Ascent will still cost them
A) CGN are going to lose 0-2
B) They should've won 2-0
C) They got no one to blame but themselves
What a sad day for DACH
Oh, I'm not trying to connect those two, I'm more saying the rounds just didn't look super-clean
Yeah, but they lost so many rifles even in the attack rounds they won and dropped a second eco at 7-8, really wasn't sure they'd actually come back until the last moment
Yeah, I'm still surprised lol
No idea how SEN pulled that comeback off, especially after dropping a couple ecos, but honestly, good on them
boaster needed to eat some humble pie anyway
Don't see SEN accomplishing anything in this match
The rounds they won were pretty close, the rounds they lost...really weren't, they just got absolutely dominated
It's wo0ts world and we're all just living in it
Odin is fucking MXS up bad every round, they just have absolutely no counter for it
Pretty sure the last four rounds of Ascent have broken Ludwig a little, I worry for this mans mental health, should MXS choke again lol
Yeah, uhm, about that
Mate, they won't even get to double digits, this match was decided after Sunset
Nice and easy 2-0, probably 13-10ish for G2
Realistically, this probably should have been a 2-0, with JJH leading 11-6 and 13-12 on Bind
More so a deserved loss for JJH, than Focus being overly impressive
I'll happily admit that I was wrong
Thought they looked pretty bad towards the end of the first half, but GX just fell apart once Heretics strung a couple rounds together
Naaaah, Heretics is just cold today, they're losing every aim duel, plus they look mentally broken
No way they bring this back, this is a 2-1 for GX
Called it, 8-4 half for GX and if they get the second pistol, it's virtually done
With how awful Heretics are looking, I'm saying there's no way they get more than seven or eight rounds, they're gonna lose the map by a clear margin
Wrong matchups, btw
It's IPGN vs Focus first and JJH vs Bobo afterwards, this match is not going to take place: https://x.com/LPL_GLOBAL/status/1808304729623048305
If Furia beat Loud, it would literally be a historic match
Ending a 25-0 win streak against Brazilian teams in VCT
Fucking great clutch from him, was it a 1v4?
And obviously by far the best player on the map either way
Yeah, credit where it's due, that was a great comeback
Damn! Didn't see that coming!
Unlucky for Furia, but pancada hardcarried for Loud and saadhak got better towards the last few rounds
Also, some really close ones, that defuse at 10-11 comes to mind, where the Furia defuser got spammed down in the 1v1 through the smoke, with about a second left
To give him some credit, he had some decent kills towards the end of the map
But at that point, they were already down
Unfortunately, there's also saadhak
Don't get me wrong, insane clutch by pancada, but they're still losing their own pick to Furia - decisively
And then a 2v4 Thrifty after Loud won the second pistol, the backbreaker
ggez for Furia on Haven, Loud never recovered from that 4v1
I don't think it would have mattered, AIC are just way better today and given the force, I'd say JJH are pretty tilted
He did get a shot off on the OP I think, it just didn't connect
Either way, wp by AIC, comfortable map for them
Given that Icebox was super-close the last time those two played against each other and seeing how AIC are already up 4-2 on attack, I'd say there's a good chance this is going to be a 2-0, despite the nice 1v2 clutch at 4-1
They are, but if you look at the Split 1 Final, AIC were leading them 10-7 and 9-5 on the first two maps, JJH had to make two comebacks happen to take those; AIC are pretty decent and JJH are just off today
Credit where it's due, that was a pretty solid hold in the last round
Shouldn't have gotten this close, tho, that was on Talon
Pretty ez comeback win for DRX, given the gigantic lead Talon had
They just kept punishing crws and surf over and over again as soon as they switched over to attack and they couldn't hold the site
Horrific decisionmaking from loud, can't put it any other way
Another 13-3 for fnatic, these rounds aren't particularly close
2-0 fnatic, KC look godawful, basically losing every aim duel
boostio needs to stop talking, that loss was entirely on him
He had open shots on the Furia players at 14-13, could have given 100T a two man-advantage and missed all of them, proceeded to get killed and 100T lost the round
TLN should win anyway, their lead was so gigantic that they should eventually win another round, but at least RRQ were showing some fight
That first half was horrendous from them
There was nothing close about those last two maps, Heretics just got stomped out of the server by superior players
Called it, Heretics are irrelevant on this decider, a non-factor
GenG just decided to win and there was nothing they could do to stop it
Yeeeeah, if GenG play like that on the decider, then Heretics and anything they might do just don't matter, GenG are going to win regardless
