to be honest i have more issues with the impact kickoff can have on the teams making it to champs, i would much rather there be a seeding tournament swiss stage where you can either do top 4 teams get a bye and have the bracket the current way or you can have bottom 4 teams start in lowers and the other 8 teams in upperes and that is how you would seed the teams so that way all teams get some time to see what works before they play games that mean something

i mean its also prob cause ranked doesnt come out till the 10th prob after that itll get more traction
