posted about 2 years ago

btw How many groups will be? 3 groups of 4 teams? or 4 groups of 3 teams?

posted about 2 years ago

Are you talking about best team of all the time or the team who had the best peak? if it's the former then it's Gambit IMO, if it's the later then it's Sentinels Reykjavík

posted about 2 years ago

Because there will be 3 BO5s in upper final, lower final and grand final

Unfortunately it isn't on Lan

you don't need an entry duelist on Icebox, you need an op

It's time;

time to learn how good LOUD is

Is this about Xerxia, Boom and Paper Rex on the same side of the bracket?

What hate?

and yet you still commented here

Unlike Furia and NIP who rely on firepower and play like psychopaths, TBK play a more tactical approach and that could make a difference

BR : Loud
Latam : KRU
BR + Latam : I think will be VK but any of VK, Leviatan, NIP, Furia have a chance

The funny thing is we only have one mod in chat

It isn't always Sliggy that decides on the comps, in his NA co-stream he said that haven comp wasn't his do

Hey, just out of curiosity I decided to look on past results of Master Reykjavík, Masters Berlin and Champions and see what is the win-loss record of regions (against other regions), here are the results also the best and worst record against a specific region are below:

  • EMEA best record is 5-0(10-3) against SEA, worst record is 7-6(19-15) against NA;
  • NA best record is 4-0(8-1) against Brazil, worst record is 6-7(15-19) against EMEA;
  • LATAM best record is 3-0(6-1) against Brazil, worst record is 1-5(3-11) against EMEA;
  • Korea best record is 2-0(4-0) against SEA, worst record is 1-5(6-10) against EMEA;
  • SEA best record is 2-0(4-0) against Japan, worst record is 0-5(3-10) against EMEA;
  • Brazil best record is 2-1(4-2) against Japan, worst record is 0-4(1-8) against NA;
  • Japan best record is 1-2(2-4) against Brazil, worst record is 0-2(0-4) against both SEA and EMEA;

Couple of notes:

  • LATAM never played against Korea and SEA
  • Korea never played against Japan(at least not outside of APAC)

So are you guys opinions about the groups? which groups are hard?

posted about 2 years ago

Should be a good one Damwon 2-1

posted about 2 years ago

Now that new patch arrived I wonder what Loud will do since they already qualified in their group in first place, do they practice for playoffs with the new patch or do they practice for this game with the old one? Probably a mix of both

It's more about branding than anything else, Aspas, Sacy and even mwzera have more views on twitch than Heat for example, also the LOUD fanbase is massive

posted about 2 years ago

He's not better than Heat but he isn't super far like people say, He needs to be tested against other Brazilian t1 teams and since he's ranked demon he does a couple of silly mistakes but he's improving, I would say of top duelists here in Brazil he's the most flexible one.

Gambit
Acend
Guild
Team Liquid
Cloud 9
Kru
Fnatic
DRX
FPX
Xerxia

Teams that impressed me or to keep an eye on:

NA: The guard, V1(We already know that Optic and Sentinels are good)
EMEA: Guild, Navi
KR: Damwon
BR: LOUD, NIP
LATAM: Leviatán
SEA / APAC: idk too many tournaments lol
Japan: idk

I can't wait to revisit this after vct and after masters 1 and see how wrong We were

I guess is because of his bad performances on the international stage, he played yoru against TL so he became a meme and got hate for both Brazilians and the international scene.

Aspas did fine he doesn't need to kill 20+ every map for LOUD to win btw I'm really surprised by Saadhak debuting as flex-duelist he did so good

posted about 2 years ago

Unfortunately there isn't, there is only the main stream and couple of watch parties, all in Portuguese

posted about 2 years ago

while Pancada is a beast, I think the main differential between VK and LOUD will be Less, he's very active on the map and even if he don't get many kills he still have impact on the game

posted about 2 years ago

I'm really curious to know why they playing it I know Liquid used no duelist comps in the past but still odd to me, is this changes happening because of Chamber?

posted about 2 years ago

They are not on VCT group stage but they probably will comeback alongside with Botafogo in stage 2
