Who are the newgens in both mogo and ogs ?
Who should I expect to do well in the future aside venka?
Is makaveli good? Makaveli's a nice name btw
If riot nerfs Odin art would be begging in front of ryanguru's house to turn him into an aim God ππ
Vlr's takes on "fixing franchising /T2" are frankly ass.
Soop is actually saving sea and no amount of viewership ( not like there's a lot anyways) will save sea. People just refuse to see it.
Vcj's development always takes a hit for every import they sign. We have academy players and good players still lft ffs, stop importing duelist as if we don't have any.
Zeta and dfm top 6 pacific
Reign and narwal left paron replaced by igi and shets
Cmon igi and shets pls do good ππ
I WISH that is the case lmao ππ
Curious about who else will be picked
I hope he does well, or else yowamu and ask will die for nothing π
Same, it's just daily post Nigeria keeps showing up on my browser feed π
Nex1sphix will show the way π₯π€β€οΈ
Yeah I forgot which jp pro reposted his clip but that's how I found him
Really? I always get the impression that they're always one step away from qualifying to playoff or knockout
Yuichris and sovamellow joins reject as coach
Arf is slowly becoming my favorite indo org in valorant ( there's not really any but ykwim π )
It's because yotaa and especially yoshii can't speak japanese despite yoshii playing for 2 years alr, game wise they aren't bad, but outside the game they are weighing them down
Jerry joins bc swell
*legit this is heartbreaking π
They said rebuilding but I sure hope they disband the whole roster, yoshii can't speak japanese and so is yotaa. While they are not bad they weighed the team a lot by limiting their options
Dfm will join valorant asia invitational in china

Scarz withdraws from split 3 ππ
Lol poor results is a massive understatementππ
Imagine importing 4 players and still can't even qualify to split 3 ππ
That's what you get for neglecting your own playerbase and community ππ
Poor tenzou, but at least he gets to improve massively here
Can't wait to see zeta pull a 10 man roster again π₯
Aace
Yatsuka

If you understand what happened to zeta this season and how zeta failed to acquire fennel core then this will be a very great video, make sure to put the subtitles on
To top it off fennel core has been deserving the spot for 2 years now so we have been waiting indeed π€π€
Sea fans only watches tier 1 anyways specifically more towards prx(except ID and TH tier 2s, both are higher than average sea t2 views but still not that great, even that aren't enough to offset other regions', the views are just not there), so there's not really much of an incentive for riot to serve the fans when Soop just essentially handed riot free money.
also you're right about their marketing, they suck ass.
Ultimately it's not about the viewerships, it's about how low can riot keep the deficit while operating the scene i.e how to not lose too much money. Might seem short sighted at face value, but the soop deal might actually saved riot more than people would like to admit.
Maybe yes, but in the grand scheme of things it doesn't really matter. If riot can gain viewerships eventually orgs will tap in to valorant because why wouldn't they? Have you seen how hard fennel tried to squeeze the trio right till the very end before they left for zeta π. That's what a good viewership region can do to an org
Fr, this time prx has been very inactive joining only 1 off season while dfm and zeta joins 3, I do think there needs to be more tier1x tier 2 off-seasons especially in sea.
Pc gaming in sea are never as big as their mobile scene anyways except Vietnam and taiwan even those only apply to league. Might as well die trying π
You're right, but his tierlist is an insult to my intellect ππ
Trying to apply my marketing major here π
Jokes aside, I think to increase t2 viewerships you need to increase your playerbase in general. Or make your t2 a spectator sport like japan, where the views are abundant but doesn't translate to playerbase.
Maybe, riot can :
make prx hold an off season where t2 sea teams vs prx , since sea is dying in viewerships and somehow everyone on sea only watches prx the exposure t2 teams receive would be great.
Tap into mobile gaming segment
Yeah but zeta and dfm overhauled their roster and they looked much much better now. So putting both zeta and dfm on the bottom just doesn't make any sense
Viewerships don't earn the scene and riot as an extention money, like modern mba( great channel btw) puts it, viewership are just "vanity metrics" , but what viewership does is:
Attract more orgs to join the scene, because more views = more merch purchased = orgs earns more money by tapping in the market
Attracts more sponsors, more viewership = more exposure towards brands = more sponsors = more capital flowing in, this is why japan t2 have 16 sponsors in split 2 in contrast to other regions
More skin sales, self-explanatory
Generate interests around the scene
Allows for more off season events
Gives the region more leverage compared to others
Etc
It should've been obvious and needs not to be said but I've seen many people here overestimates or underestimates what viewerships can do.
If anything riot actually benefitted more from this.
Soop wouldn't be buying streaming rights if riot didn't merge sea. But riot know sea is a bottomless pit that's about to be merged regardless soop bought them or not. So in short, not only riot saved tons of money, they also earned more money from the streaming rights in the process, and to add no one will watch soop anyways the streaming rights purchase really came into clutch.
Marketing isn't cheap and riot knew that, they manage to save the scene without spending anymore marketing spending.
From this pov soop really looked like an idiot imo.
I've never been so offended by a tier list.
This was probably before soop bought the streaming rights. With soop buying the streaming rights ( which should be extremely huge for riot to accept because if it's not then it's a stupid move from riot), I think riot won't complain if the viewership drops.
Ik that aace wanted to play sentinel but I don't know that yatsuka wants to play controller tho
My ghost roomies, orange marmalade, mom I'm sorry uhh what else π
It seems that Trident is disbanding the current roster or making some roster moves
Does anyone familiar know what happened to AXELERATE?
Why does Kass private his twitter account?
They're resigning aace back or getting someone like Dvnc9, Idk lol most good controllers in VCJ already belonged to a teamπ π
He's immortal and still plays osu more than valorant, and from his clips it looks like if he commits more time into it he can be a great player.
Also, from what I can see, he's the best osu player from Japan, is this true?
Actually, gatorada already switched to valo
https://www.vlr.gg/player/37664/gatorada
https://tracker.gg/valorant/profile/riot/Ayagator999%230035/overview
And ayagator commits to valo now
They will attend for main stage
