Seems like scarz hates this scene so much, if they hate it that much they should just leave lol, and don't forget to take yoshiii , the root cause of this bullshit roster away.

Imagine 3 years in japan but still can't speak japanese, your current roster speak japanese while you had to speak English lol

Shame that i can't watch this match but I hope NFX destroys this dogturd org once and for all.

Oooooh you meant NA League, if so I agree with you, in fact, LJL ( japan league) and what used to be LCS are the primary reason I'm very against imports. There's nothing you can do when multiple orgs' owners ( including jack ettiene which is why i kinda don't like him) actively tried to prevent Riot for restricting import rules. In LJL there are academy team but due to the large gap between Japan and the rest, unfortunately it's way too late.

However in Valorant it's different, the Gap between regions are still close, there are still ways to prevent to prevent league situation from happening. Which is why I HATED it when japan orgs actively search for young imports and choose to abandon their own local talent, they acted like this is League and a not a different game with different situation( you can clearly see this with how DFM operates, they clearly think they are in league when they tried to form a 3 korean roster ). For every imports they picked we are moving 1 step behind in terms of development.

I change my mind, NA valorant needs all the development it can gets just like any other region and that includes academy teams

Esperanza is in the team most likely because this nfx core is just old nth core but with eko instead of Wolverine.

posted 6 months ago

When marin left NFX I thought they will make him full duelist because Marin played raze or bring eko back to initiator, but then they brought yowamu, that's when I realized eko is probably not a duelist player lol, low-key nfx has role issues but eko's neon is good enough to make up for it.

Good point but tonbo really should go imo, he was good last split but it seems that age finally caught up to him

The game is over the moment Absol and TENNN aren't shooting back 😭

Oh no Absol and TENNN aren't goating rn, Murash's world is crumbling

You mean poor man's HYUNMIN. He's good don't get me wrong, but he doesn't have the same presence as HYUNMIN.

And that's like KEN's life game.

And frankly if CGZ has that much time to look for young imports they should've just find a good local player

Eko nowadays looking like neon one trick, he's good at neon tho.
Esperanza should go lol. Performing badly all the way back to northeption.

Either way NFX is one of the teams that doesn't need two imports on the team imo

posted 6 months ago

That's what happens when you're finally given a proper role and not being asked to juggle 3 roles at the same time.

He always has it in him

posted 6 months ago

Yowamu and thiefy are looking like BRIAN and muto duo on the making

Neon is like legit the only reason why eko is still on the team lol

Omg the thiefy we're promised with have finally comeπŸ›πŸ›

posted 6 months ago

In terms of development NA doesn't really need one imo, since everyone is basically either from US or Canada

Whereas in japan unironically Zeta and Dfm has done more than 90% of VCJ orgs in terms of talent development.

posted 6 months ago

there's more nuance to this imo. For regions that has horrible viewership and little choice, academy team is like others said, bringing in viewerships and security.

However, for Japan this is a mixed bag imo, orgs like FAV and BB missed out of the tournament in place of ZETA and DFM AC, just like you said this unnecessarily tightens the competition which makes it hard for orgs with fewer resources to compete. Even, between orgs with plenty resources have to face elimination like FAV and BB( orgs that are actually trying to elevate the scene). This is not good because FAV just left the scene ( from what I can see).

However, many of this resourceful orgs love to play "refugee camp simulator" ( they hate to scout local talents and choose to actually scout young imports, repeat this word 3 times and you will understand how stupid these orgs are) meaning much of the local talents doesn't have a chance to play in place of imports. In this case Zeta and DFM actually helped the scene by developing the scene's local talent.

I have to say, relationship between viewership and academy teams isn't that straightforward. Zeta and DFM doesn't bring in viewerships.

Must've been the puzzles, the bugs are pretty hard to look at too.

Regarding them beating T1 teams in scrims is partially true tho.

Hals made a fuss when vctscrims uploaded scrims in twitter of them beating dfm ( or is it boom I forgot alr)

Imma be honest that's one of the reason I rated fennel highly.

Reject finally playing on bootcamp wasn't anticipated by euler imo because that definitely played a role in reject's success

Amongst Japanese players, duelist are the most stacked role in VCJ, the likelihood of KEN being picked by DFM or Zeta is very slim. Hell, even Gwangboong actually has a greater likelihood but still slim either way.

posted 6 months ago

They had to bend the rules by getting 3 imports and still lose this badly, it's as fraud as it gets,

As I explained the rest at #32, out of every org in vcj Sc0rz is the most complacent and downright harmful org rn.

posted 6 months ago

I used to think forcefully adding both teams into the scene isn't a good idea, and it still is not a good idea imo.

The fact that they actually looked good reaffirms my thought that import slot should be reduced to just 1 per team and having " fluent japanese " should be a basic requirement to be one, that means no more "half -japanese " that can't speak japanese

Anyways fuck these orgs ( especially sc0rz, you have no redeeming traits, at least Sengoku and NFX finally take in young talents) for taking shortcuts and neglecting the scene. They make Zeta and dfm management somehow looked like angels.

Regardless , Fennel wins this

posted 6 months ago

People who actually watch the scene will see this coming miles away.

Riddle cashed in on new local talents and when Aace left they replaced him with someone deserving of success.

While scarz just imports their way in and hoping they can actually do something. 3 washed players , 1 player coming out of injuries and 1 player who refuses to actually speak japanese. No wonder they lose this badly.

posted 6 months ago

I could go on for hours about how scarz and 90% of imports are parasites to the scene since inception. But to keep it short, I simply have no respect for orgs that constantly, purposefully and maliciously import their way to victory.
