on paper yea, but how much of that "2 round away from a trophy" was because of him

1. PRX - obviously, they are the only roster still together atm
2. NRG - according to s0m's video, all it would take is nrg falling off for him to come back
3. GEN - they players are all still friends and still fs deserve tier 1, relatively very likely
4. EDG - between them and t1, i feel like edg's on better ground with s1mon than t1 is with sylvan
5. T1 - look above
6. FNC - Leo probably isnt returning, but on the off chance he does I could see fnc trying to bring the boys back together.
7. GMB - surprisingly high maybe, but nats and chronicle could definitely team up in the near future, and sheydos, redgar, and d3ffo still seem willing to compete so
8. EG - demon1, c0m, and boostio are all teamless and have at least some desire to compete, but with jawg and ethan doing well on their teams it seems unlikely
9. SEN (24) - theyre all split up atm sure, but i could see them going for a throwback one day with a cameo of tenz and sacy
10. LOUD - not only is sacy retired, but the players dont really seem to fw eachother as much as other rosters
11. FPX - they already reunited once, making it much less likely for them to come back a third time. ange1's a coach now and ardiis is M.I.A., but who knows
12. OPTIC - as sad as it is, everyone but crashies seems either done competing or very close to. victor and marved havent been seen in months, fns is gone to streaming land, and yays washed
13. ACEND - most people nowadays dont even know who kiles and bonecold even are, even if zeek starxo and cned teamed up, those two are gone for good
14. SEN (21) - legit the only roster with not a single player left in tier 1. most of the players dont even play val anymore. the closest thing we have is sick still under contract with sen

yea cause aspas was on nzr's side, but lev couldn't afford for aspas to leave and no org was making a buyout THAT late into offseason. also it wasnt only the nzr situation that made aspas dislike lev, there were other things about the org he hated.
no matter if c0m was available or not aspas was gonna do everything he could to leave lev that season.

i think kaplans thought process with the change is that zekken would have been a little bit less impactful on smokes than on duelist, but narrate would have been much more impactful on duelist than on initiator. meaning overall the team would be better, and probably would have had less role issues

ngl i think the only thing missing from this sen roster is experience when compared to 24 roster
johnqt kinda has to fill sacys spot with being that guiding voice, if he can do that then sen could very well fight with the top teams of this season
