I was watching TenZ's stream today. He started his stream absolutely fine, even though he lost the second game he himself was playing good and was hitting crispy shots. But after that for some reason he just switched his mouse and as expected played the next game horribly so he changed the mousepad too. Then the next game he matched with cryo, Ayrin, neT and his opponents were Optic crashies and victor. As I expected he dropped an absolute shitter, couldn't hit anything and the look on his face made me really sad. He was looking embarrassed af. I feel like when he does this shit it's like going down rabbithole. First he starts with mouse, then mouse pad, then sens and his performances keeps getting worse and worse then he sees himself on the bottom of the board and it melts his brain and it feels like he can't think for himself anymore. He has been doing this shit since his C9 days but no change still, this guy beats himself up over nothing. Does he expect his aim to be godlike all of a sudden because he switched to Finalmouse medium from his Finalmouse small? His aim is already so good, I feel like he should just try to use the same setup so that it becomes more consistent and focus on his decision making in game which actually does matter. That's the reason he will never be on the same level as yay, cned, cryo, leaf etc. He could try to move to somewhere where his ping is better which will actually give him mechanical advantage but in stead he keeps doing dumb shit that makes his aim inconsistent and which eventually makes his head explode. So much potential down the drain just cz of weird behavior and mentality.

TL;DR - TenZ himself is his worst enemy.

Impossible! I swear SEN can't win a pistol round if their life depended on it. At least, 4 rounds is freelo against them

That's a weird thing to say out of nowhere

A lot of people are. I watched few clips of sinatraa/zombs watchparty on yt and everyone was hating on him in the comments. Acting like there was no issue with zombs at all!

Ngl most of the hate towards kanpeki is coming from people who are deadset on the idea that sinatraa is still the best player itw, he is only second to Thanos no cyap and he will save Sentinels no matter what their problem is. So, first let's address the fact that Sinatraa was a great player at a time when the game was in it's infancy and Hiko was his rival for 'best sova' debate! He hasn't played pro for smth like a year and a half now! Who knows how good he is gonna be? From his ranked games at least no one can tell me that even if he hasn't kept up with pro play his mechanics are insane to the level that it will bail him out.
Now let's look at Kanpeki. It hasn't even been 2 weeks since he joined the team! yet he already looks very promising with how he sets his teammates up. It's safe to assume that most of the online people who are shitting on him are absolute scoreboard Andys. So, Let's look at it. Against, Pugstars( A decent t2/t3 team) he was the top fragger with
ACS K D A +/– KAST ADR
275 31 / 23 / 12 +8 84% 169
Against Akrew, he went
ACS K D A +/– KAST ADR
127 28/ 38 /29 -10 67% 94
Now, this was a rough series for him but his numbers are massively skewed by the split game where the whole team was horrible! On Ascent, the decider map, he went
ACS K D A +/– KAST ADR
211 16/ 14 /19 +2 74% 146
That's exceptional as a kayO player imo.

Against FaZe, he had a rough series but he had an incredible amount of assists(36) and TenZ went 16-10 in FB:FK against the demons that are babybay and dicey, partially thanks to kanpeki!
Against NYFU and LG he was one of the better players. Went,
NYFU ACS K D A +/– KAST ADR (3rd on board)
244 56/ 39 /18 +17 68% 139
LG ACS K D A +/– KAST ADR (2nd on the board)
202 46 / 47 /15 -1 77% 129
After a settling period, he kept performing better and these numbers are pretty good for a flex player. His sage and SEN split didn't look good in general, which made the numbers look a lot worse than they actually were! So, is this where all the hate is coming from? zombs, sinatraa and co. were watch partying and everytime kanpeki whiffed or died they were snarky about it. I think that's what fueled the 15 yr old sinatraa and zombs fans. Imo, Kanpeki looked promising and should in theory solve a lot of problems SEN have(unless zam keeps putting him on sage and dapr on chamber n shit like that). Only time will tell how good a player he is but so far there has been no reason to think he is the 'new problem'!

Why are you hatin tho?

EMEA region is literally carried by Gambit only.

Kinda agree and disagree at the same time. ShahZam once said they were playing to not lose rather than to win and i think they still have that mindset since they are under so much pressure to qualify.

I mean I would love the comedy.

Not as a player but as a coach? Let's bring Shahz and steel together for once. they will make great things happen.

posted about 2 years ago

Because they don't have a coach and he chose to do 2mans job alone in prepping, finding team comp etc and he doesn't even do one man's job! Look at FNS or Redgar. They could even make their team win even without having a positive kd. Yes, good aim helps but that's not the most imp thing for an IGL and playing rank doesn't give you good aim or kills in officials.

posted about 2 years ago

Bro his Jett sucks! You can't freely like you could previously and his Jett is just bait, bait, bait and OP, OP, OP. Wouldn't work.

posted about 2 years ago

I understand his concerns but if that's the case then he isn't ever getting a coach imma be honest. You can't just scout a coach like a player and pick him up. Poaching a top coach is his only option but the problem is SEN doesn't have the pull power it once had.

posted about 2 years ago

SEN doesn't actually care. How come they don't have a coach yet?

posted about 2 years ago

SEN could just steal strats from masters teams but then again how effective are they gonna be since teams are more advanced nowadays and all the teams have coaching stuff+analysts to break down all the plays we see in matches! Sentinels as an org has been so disappointing! It's like they signed TenZ for like a mil and then completely gave up on pro play!

posted about 2 years ago

he said it even before the playoffs started. If it was true i think it would have been announced by now

posted about 2 years ago

ShahZam thinks for someone to be a good coach they need to be former top pro and that's why he got rawkus. Tbh I don't actually believe his reasoning. Imo he just wanted a former pro who would be soft and friendly so that they don't become a problem in his streaming career. That's just my theory though.

posted about 2 years ago

It wouldn't be productive practice if they skill diff a low level team! I feel like without a good coach analyzing your plays practice isn't even efficient! val doesn't have reply system, who's gonna analyze TenZ's POV and say on his face like bro even though you got a kill here this was a bad play!

posted about 2 years ago

clipI don't know how to feel about this. On one hand I don't want them to settle with anyone just for the sake of getting a coach but on the otherhand a capable coach could honestly bring them back to top. Just for calling the tac pauses they need a coach look how TGRD came back to win thrifties and rounds and brought the momentum back after every tac pauses. Isn't looking good ngl.

Vanity has always been a cNed enjoyer. Nothing new!

posted about 2 years ago

You are countering a bad argument with a lie! That isn't any better. TenZ had like 17 kills or something and cNed farmed all the ecos with Reyna and had 20 something kills. It wasn't a carry by no means, i watched it on cNed stream and they were playing on split. Don't make an argument in bad faith just cz you think people might not know what you are referring to.

Players that are flashy & have best numbers are always considered 'the best'. not just in Esports but in every sports. Get over it. That being said-

Jett: TenZ(close call, could've chosen cned as well but prefer a Jett entry that would give me a lot of FBs)
Reyna: TenZ
Raze: Corey
Sova: Sinatraa( Crashies among current pros)
Skye: Soulcas
Cypher: nAts
Astra: Vanity
Omen: nitr0
Sage: Shao
Phoenix: SicK
Brimstone: Boaster
Breach: Stax
Yoru: No one( cz trash agent)
Killjoy: Steel
Viper: Zombs ( M1xwell has been insane but need to see him on a bigger stage)

Bro you probably only saw seoldam on YT and playing in JPN and going nowhere. You can't legitimately think he is a better Jett player than TenZ,cNed etc?

posted about 2 years ago

Wdym? TenZ was on raze and was second on the board and reyna is literally the best solo q character! How do you call that a carry when all the players in iceland were practicing on shit PC and 60+ ping! TenZ was playing horribly with M1xwell on stream and then was the mvp in Iceland!

posted about 2 years ago

You can't with this people bro. They would make up hypothetical situation but still wouldn't give credit to people who have done it irl. Some guy on twitter said Mwzera is much better than TenZ, it's just his team is bad. Like bro TenZ farmed the team that beat Mwzera! Winning b2b masters is no easy feat, put some respect on their name!
