I feel that today John, Sacy and Zellsis (except map 2) were playing quite off today, it's not like them to perform so bad but it just goes to show that valorant is more of a team game now.

Ngl bravo to team heretics, after that run in Shanghai I lowkey want to see them earn a trophy, but I also am proud of SEN, despite the doubters they managed to clinch 4th at champions and 1st at madrid. Hopefully we get to see more SEN next year

GGWP to both teams

Thumbnail guy with the correct prediction again

Honestly I was rooting for TE to win however it seems like they are not playing as a team against EDG as most of the time and are super inconsistent, like how there is little covering fire and util to help FengF entry, so he often dies without getting traded out.( Realise how this is oddly similar to Demon1 on NRG against EG)

However, they are mostly good at punishing mistakes on defender side, being able to hold their ground against a lot of aggression and also knowing when to peek / hold etc

If they can try to change up how they play their attack rounds, they can be an even stronger team than they are now

Personally I don't really think coaching should change tbh. While WGAMING seems to be less and less effective now, its the only reason why PRX is so popular, usually having a lot of people watching their matches and buying their merch. I feel that they can learn from EDG, where KangKangs playstyle is similar to WGAMING but some of the team play more disciplined, similar to mindfreak.

Yea sadly ik, but I was just stating my preference as I feel that these would be pretty dope if it ever happened

Ngl I would have preferred:
EDG vs DRX
SEN vs FNC
LEV vs TH
G2 vs TE

Feel like these would be more interesting matchups

Oh right mb, but yea sadly WGAMING seems to falter against teams like EDG now and G2.

I feel that if they usually falter against disciplined teams with a good IGL and the right amount of firepower, like how KangKang is the 'WGAMING' part of EDG while the rest are mostly disciplined and play at a slower pace

Some things I noticed during the matches was how having an IGL really helped EDG. The meta now is much much different compared to previous years, and S1mon has been quite a dominant player despite being a rookie.

The lack of a clear igl resulted in forsakens poor performance on breach, whose util capitalizes on team play which is why so many people who play breach in these tournaments have a lot of assists.

Though I love PRX I have to say that their form this year is really really bad, and someone needs to take up the role of an igl, or at least someone who does mid round calls etc. I hope they keep their WGAMING style as it is really entertaining to watch but at this rate they might not even trophy contenders in 2025

Edit: Maybe forsaken needs to take up the role of igl on certain maps where he plays breach to be able to properly coordinate the team for his breach util

Idk why but similar to past OPTC, SEN are really good at rematches. But man nt geng and congrats SEN, would have preferred to see how LEV vs GenG would play out

Honestly, even though they got 2 - 0ed twice in champions, I really admire how far they have come as a team. They put up unexpected performances against both VIT and LEV, and given enough time I feel that they can become one of the teams regularly in VCT like GenG PRX etc

Biank got crazy upset energy, bro won against LEV, VIT, and NRG on what people considered 'bad' teams

Honestly they shouldn't have dropped victor imo they shouldve dropped crashies. Demon1 has been performing statistically better on EG compared to NRG as his playstyle is to play off his teammates, similar to past yay. So instead of dropping vic they could have tried dropping crashies to make a team similar to this:

Victor (Main Duelist)
sOm (Could possibly be flex, but mainly Smoker / Duelist)
Demon1 (Smoker / Duelist depending on the maps)
Ethan (Initiator)
FNS (Sentinel)
Potter (Coach)

I feel that this team makes more sense than the current team
