if you gonna use mens, you also gotta make sure that you use it conjunction with "))" mens ))
some g2 players are in Berlin already(mixwell), while others like nukkye are only arriving in Berlin on Sunday(5th September)
This tournament is so free for NA, I don't think even the NA pros realise that
TSM can already be popping champagne to celebrate their qualification for NA LCQ
I have envy beating vk at first, but then losing to KRU and then losing to vk in the lowers
Don't let muricans appropriate our culture ))
Probably a nothingburger until 2022. As the guy says, the conclusions of the investigation are still going to take time to materialise, so Riot probably can continue brushing this off as they had successfully done before.
Riot made this seedings in a way in which all the regions are considered to be at the same level
Pretty much the crux of the problem and why everybody is indirectly calling for region power rankings to influence the pools. Unfortunately, Riot in their attempts to be as objective as possible are not gonna add region power rankings weights based on a sample size of 1 international tournament.
G2 being #blessed with easier groups, just like Lewis Hamilton in F1
lol if you think EU/NA fans are a problem, what about Pakistani fans(and vice versa, Indians towards Pakis)? Legit tuned in for 5 minutes of the VCC tournament to see twitch chat wildin' in terms of Kashmir, Modi and other stuff that you guys politically beef about.
ngl, was pretty entertaining though
That would be like a cherry on top of the cake in terms of circuit structure
yeah I messed up the summer times
There is nothing special about this game tactically, you can be among the best even if all you do is "rush a/b simulator".
That's all you really need in this game tbh. It all comes down to how cohesively players can play with each other whilst making plays together - i.e. how well they are covering angles for each other, how well they are trading each other out, how well they are stacking utilities to set create possibilities for power plays and so on.
13:00 Monday, Central European Time (CET) is
07:00 Monday, Eastern Time (ET)
13:00 = 1pm
07:00 = 7am
oxygen esports is an american organisation that has signed a turkish 5 stack that plays in TR region, no reason to not have the same scenario with an american org and F4Q
plus1, that's what I keep repeating on loop myself
Italian pizza is over rated anyways, Swedish kebab pizza drenched with garlic sauce is where it's at.
That is all forgiven, considering that Riot is a small and independent indie video game developer company
THE TECHNOLOGY IS SIMPLY NOT THERE YET TO ENSURE THAT EVERYBODY IS REASONABLY HAPPY ABOUT GROUP STAGE BRACKETS
This only confirms that Volvo > Rito
RIOT IS A SMALL INDIE VIDEO GAME DEVELOPER COMPANY, THEY ARE SIMPLY NOT BIG ENOUGH TO AFFORD TECHNOLOGY THAT WOULD ALLOW THEM TO CREATE GROUP BRACKETS THAT EVERYBODY WOULD REASONABLY BE HAPPY ABOUT
Riot: hope nobody saw that hehehe, we are a small indie game developer company after all
That's good, ty for figuring this out
Has anybody come up with ingenious throw scenarios in group stages to have an easier path to the finals in playoffs bracket, yet? Specifically talking about teams wanting to throw games in group stage to ensure that they place 2nd in groups, thus increasing the likelihood of deeper playoff run during single elimination playoff bracket.
Déjà vu
I've just been in this place before
Higher on the street
And I know it's my time to go
Sooo, what are the logical $322 throw scenarios in groups, considering Riot already published the complete playoff bracket too? By this I mean, specifically place 2nd in groups to get an easier path to finals in the playoffs bracket
telling how it actually be like ))
Fucking hell, fuck this virus. Rest in peace
Can't confirm, the shit I do to my food would have landed me in Italian concentration camp long time ago
That's true, I suppose
Okay, this is becoming even more confusing. What does a Tenstar affiliated assistant coach got to do with this mix? :o
/r/valorantcompetitive reddit threads, those nerds are the first ones to get their hands on this stuff
niesow departure was the real nail in the coffin for that team
Fair enough, your points are reasonable. In the end, Valorant is pretty volatile and I think that in this game in particular, a specific team, or a specific comp can counter whatever the opponent has prepared before hand. I hope that other teams are now going to be underestimating EU's teams, only for EU teams to hit their stride on LAN, despite the current EMEA result
Dunno, these 1 hundredth defuse/plant scenarios sound like excuses to me. First of all, those particular rounds were exceptions, but what about the rest of the rounds that ensured that a lucky defuse/plant was gonna determine the winner of the game? I'm pretty sure teams that are contenders for the title of the best of the best will want to make sure that they win rounds to an extent where lucky outlier defuses/plants do not change the final outcome of the match
Because popular to contrary belief, CS:GO is not yet dead in stronghold regions and arguably not even in NA tier 1 scene. The issue with NA is that no new orgs want to enter CS:GO when they can enter Valolrant instead.
.01 seconds away is irrelevant when G2 were 12-8 up at one point imho. They still had at least 2 more opportunities to properly close that game out, but they didn't and instead let Gambit win in OT.
EDIT: perhaps people are also misinterpreting my comment. What I mean by reality check is not that EU is completely done, but rather that EU big orgs are gonna have to do something about their praccs to make sure that they are better. Like G2 spent a whole July praccing and even had a bootcamp, but their play still relied heavily on somebody popping off just like in Challengers 1 qualifiers. The game against SMB really exposed G2's flaws when they literally had no counter to SMB's utility set plays and I think it's simply down to the fact that G2's preparation wasn't as good as it could have been.
I think there is definitely an ego element involved. My impression is that EU big org names don't take scrim beatings(generalising here based on scrimbux rumours and attitude of some players during their streams when they talk about these) against TR teams and Gambit seriously, because they think that for some reason the teams they lose against in scrims will not be able to repeat the same things during officials. Well it now appears that they've been wrong and hopefully will lead to some good old reality check.
You should open a betting advice group, tell people to place bets against teams that you support
You first heard it here folks, EU is totally finished and there is no way they can ever recover from this
Hopefully one of gydom galva guys sees this here: Who discovered Humble and how did he end up playing with you? Dude looks promising if he keeps playing like this
Valorant equivalent of C9 tank top boost, mb mb?
Lithuania - DELUSIONAL_NUKKYE_FAN
Who discovered Humble? That guy is a pleasant surprise for Lithuanian scene
Yeah, hence hekzy saying "riot induced".
this. Do have to admit that this is a lowkey genius move from them though, definitely promotes the intra regional competition between big bad EU teams and underdog hero TR/CIS that probably translates into increased viewership
