Personally I agree with the 24 slot idea, especially because it will make these events feel more grand than just a couple day stint. I don't think splitting the highly competitive regions into smaller regions would help with the games progression though. EMEA have proven in the last couple months that it is better to combine more regions into one. NA deserve more spots as it will drive the viewership up and they need more international events so NA can understand the meta. Korea have shown that they are a one team region, but maybe by allowing more of these teams to make it through they could be real competitors. OCE/AUS have not yet gotten a chance and I think giving them 2 slots for next years VCT is a good way of balancing that out. Japan, although having high viewership numbers, is not that great of a region. If LATAM win this champions, I think they would be given 4 in favour of removing smaller regions like SA which could just be thrown into the Korean or Japanese circuits occasionally.
