its kda so its assists + kills/2

to be fair when were talking about who's the best controller na it means the best player on the role, not the one who places smokes best. If you put a three year old on smokes in the game and they placed perfect smokes every time but never got a single kill, they wouldn't be considered the best controller.

Realistically, to have good roles and not just throw a bunch of good players together:
-yay: chamber on all maps
-marved: smokes
-Asuna/xepaa: initiator
-Igl is hard to fill, but FNS, Vanity, and maybe stellar just because he plays sentinel and I have spares as coach and they're working well together?
-Tenz/babybay duelist cuz they can both (sorta) play raze as well as Jett.

-sgares as coach for sure

nismo over asuna???

Bro they got 11 rounds in total. You def can’t blame that on the the top frag on both maps who was the only one who went positive

posted about 2 years ago

Neither of them making playoffs 💀

posted about 2 years ago

Stellar> Babyj easily, both mechanically and in game sense, and he’s an insane igl, only thing babyJ might have an edge on is cypher setups, but anyone can set up trips at choke points.
At this point, with the way Hiko was playing before retirement, will is better imo, which means this entire roster is better than the last one. lol

Are you serious? They’re constantly in the biggest tournaments, making playoffs and upsetting really good teams. They beat V1 last playoffs, and have always been decent

bro are you two weeks in the past or something?

I think 100T def has better coaching, but you're for sure underestimating MCe here. When it comes to map pool, the guard will probably ban Breeze, and then 100T prob haven, unless they've been doing some work on it. Then the guard will probably pick either icebox/bind, and 100t will pick split. Second round of bans will prob be ascent for 100T and the latter of icebox/bind for guard, and then fracture is map 3

Asuna saw this lmao

bruh ofc if you put the csg awp into valo rn it would be overpowered, csgo has way higher movement speed, so all that is needed.

I think this is where 100T with their roster, and it seems to be paying off, well see what happens tmr tho

Their games are gonna be boring, bunch of other closer games that are more worth to stream for everyone, including casters/observers. The observers, pretty much the ones running the whole thing, don't wanna start of the day with a boring ass game.

I think there's a big difference between the two. Tsm switched out one chamber OPer (Wardell) for another chamber/jett Oper in seven. Rossy, Corey, subroza were already there, and they switched out aleko for Gmd. They already had the base, and just had to adjust slightly with seven on Jett on a map or two, integrate gmd, and I think move Rossy onto Sova on some maps. 100T rebuilt absolutely everything, from coaches to players, and even the two players that stayed from the already unstable past rosters both switched to new roles. 100T probably should have won the games yesterday, and kinda threw icebox and then threw that 3v1 round. If they don't lose that round, they have a good shot at winning, but they lost and fell flat from there.

posted about 2 years ago

you think? even though it's been like 3 weeks since they got this roster?

posted about 2 years ago

How we feeling about 100t's chances of getting through quals next week? IMO this iteration of the roster is really good, and even if they don't make it next week, they should def stick with it for a good while. All the players can frag, and their macro play seems rly good, they just make a ton of stupid mistakes which makes sense since their a 3 week old team. If they round out their map pool and work a bit on synergy/ not throwing every possible round they should be a rly good team.

this weeks roster looking good boys

posted about 2 years ago

why do you think their roster is trash lmao

posted about 2 years ago

yeah but there's a huge difference here. Seven was essentially a 1 for 1 trade with Wardell (oping chamber for oping chamber/jett on some maps), so the main change was switching gmd for aleko, so they only had 1-2 role switches (I don't think Rossy played Sova before), while 100t is a completely new team, and even their two remaining players switched roles completely, and their entire coaching staff changed too. Tsm did do an incredible job, and I love the changes they've made. I think that 100t has a good chance of making the quals next week. If they don't, they should def keep this team and come back insanely strong next year.

posted about 2 years ago

I mean a 3 week old team was 1 round away from qualing, multiple times, chances are they improve for next week

posted about 2 years ago

Also if the team was unhappy with certain members, how on earth do you expect them to be dedicated enough to make champs and be good there. Sure 2 officials isn't a lot of time, but they sure as hell practiced a ton and screamed a bunch, so they have that to base it off too.

posted about 2 years ago

I get that but there was certainly other stuff behind the scenes as well, babyJ does have a very strong personality, maybe that clashed with others, comps, chem, anything could have happened behind the scenes. Also after losing the two games they were pretty much out for getting to masters imo, so why not just rebuild completely. I highly doubt they only dropped them cuz the two games, there was def some other stuff we couldn't see that affected it.

posted about 2 years ago

lmao I was listening to nade's stream after the announcement, the players were the one's who wanted steel dropped, nitr0 left, the synergy wasn't there with babyJ and ec1s, which was honestly pretty obvious from the way the played, also hiko retired, and Ethan wanted to leave too. I think this roster is the best it's been in a while, since these are players on the same wavelength, and the synergy should be there. There's also no role overlap which there has been on each team so far, other than maybe the original one.

posted about 2 years ago

If sgares and ddk chose them they have to be decent. I think a this point in val it's pretty clear that synergy/chemistry and teamwork> individual talent, and if they put in the work and get on well they'll go good

posted about 2 years ago

lmao I mean the game was close and honestly could have gone either way, lets see how loud does against G2

posted about 2 years ago

optic is on a roll and the guard haven't played in a bit +nerves cuz first international lan

posted about 2 years ago

same thing goes for any other region tbf, but Brazil is the only one who appears to be declining atm, but well see how loud does
lmao this is a reply to my other post

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah especially if Brazil continue to underperform, they should probably get less representation, and send more teams from regions with exploding player bases

posted about 2 years ago

lmao yeah its pretty fair, eu has the biggest population, then na, so they get the most teams, and send a good amount from everywhere else, since those regions have less top tier teams, but the teams that get sent are still insane

posted about 2 years ago

no cap tho if Brazil underperform at masters 1 and 2 and the asian teams continue to do good I see no point in sending 2 Brazilian teams to champs. Either do the exact same mixed qual for latam/br and send three South American teams to champs or send one from each

posted about 2 years ago

africa is part of EMEA and their scene is almost non-existent so I don't see the point of sending someone from there, and game changers can just qual through na quals if they're good enough

posted about 2 years ago

EMEA 5, NA 4, APAC 2, Brazil 1, LATAM 1, KOREA 1, JAPAN 1 and then have an asian quali between the apac third seed, Korea and japan 2 seeds, and whoever wins out there plays rock paper scissors against brazil's second seed to see who goes.

lmao the Brazil copium is tangible
