it lacks info, making calls much worse for chinese teams, where their mistakes are more apparant. in higher info meta's chinese teams can better disguise their bad macro with additional info which forces them to make easy calls

yoru, china has 0 good yoru utility, every single player who plays yoru in china just arent good at it, they shoot tell but thats it, their utility, their tp management, their uses of the clone, their flash set ups, their ult usage and management all terrible, their setup of yoru in good positions.
they play yoru because its meta, but they dont know anything about what makes yoru good.

Chinese teams do love running into the enemy team but EDG not only dont play double duelist, they also havent played super aggressively since champs 2024 and before that it was back in lock//in 2023

You are right in the sense a coach doesnt tell when players are meant to peek, but thats not my point.
If you lack info, lack space, or put into a bad postion, the natural reaction is to peek.

why is this the case? because its the only way to win, you have to over rely on your mechanics to win out bad positions or use your body to clear information due to lack of it.

this is overly apparant with the lack of info meta, so people are doing it more often.
China as region as a whole overpeeks (XLG dont really do it until the late rounds) now how does that make sense? its because they are putting themselves in worse positions more times than other teams and are forcing themselves to clear with bodies instead of utility.

again, yes kangkang as a player overall does ego peek more than the average player, but the poor macro of EDG is definitely not helping

its absolutely a coaching issue. kangkang is overpeeking majority of the time due to bad protcools, there are times when he is just egoing but the protcools set up are so bad, that it literally feels right to peek in this situations

its not that hard to copy opponent strats, I play in like tier 2.5 and even I can do that.

the issue is when players have a fundamental issue that doesnt allow them to play the strat to the full pontential. XLG are a perfect example
Hvoya does a lot of standarded (non-CN) but the players dont have the fundamental bases of what to do, and whats the appropriate reaction to do if x happens.
