i think you guys are forgetting marved went from being a not very vocal player surrounded by a stable core of players that allowed him to thrive and kind of take the backseat and make plays he saw on the map, sen he had a completely different role and had to basically slot in as igl which player with experience knows is not an easy thing to do. not to mention sentinels was basically in shambles before he even slotted in. id imagine being the 4/5th most vocal person on his previous roster to being the #1 caller would have an impact on his play, even though he didn’t play bad.

watching these gc matches of relatively unknown teams vs well known teams in the scene (SR, FLYquest) it seems like they respect them way too much and lose confidence, almost like their whole game plan is thrown out the window because they feel like they already lost before the game starts. it could just be they are way out of their depth in these matches and I'm overanalyzing but thoughts?

sacys skye is mid so this indirectly helps sen going into the sova/fade meta as well as kayo/gekko tenz flex (might put zellsis on the gekko). all things point towards sen having a good year honestly, even though im a sen hater.

trent’s a flex, 1leaf is only a duelist on g2 now but is top player on any role, boostio is a top sentinel, crashies is a top initiator, if we’re going purely off stats jakeee was a top 3 controller main in americas last year, i dislike zellsis but just based off his comms and util he’s a top initiator as well but could be considered flex. Oxy doesn’t have enough T1 big stage matches but this year will probably prove him as a world class duelist.
