yes they won Iceland but in reality I feel like NA is a pretty weak region. They only have 1 good team that can compete internationally,
and the only reason they were able to win Reykjavik 2022 is because the top EMEA teams couldn’t play because of travel restrictions and Covid. So basically Optic had no competition.

also I kinda feel like this run was a bit of a fluke. They lost to Xerxia at the beginning and Loud in the upper finals so they are definitely not as strong as everything thinks but somehow they won it at the end so idk I still think FPX, prime Fnatic and even Gambit are all higher in the rankings than Optic.

I think when everything goes back to normal we will never see NA, Optic and these random teams again. I mean the last time we had everyone competing normally every NA team got grouped and they had no chance

I don't think there was any advantage for OpTic today against Zeta so I guess they will do the same for the grand finals. If it was a 6 map pool maybe they would give Loud the only map ban but with 7 maps it's pretty balanced

Response to the edit: If we're using this logic, then if OpTic beat Loud 13:2, Zeta barely beat NiP 13:11, and Loud beat NiP 13:11, that just means that Louds fracture is slightly better than NiPs, which means Louds fracture is close to Zeta's. Which means OpTic's fracture would be far superior than Zeta's (I still don't subscribe to this logic, but if we're comparing those results I had to bring it up) I was confident about OpTic's result against Loud mainly because of the way they run neon, not because I think Loud's fracture is anything special
