getting those sympathy points for franchising, smart move
I'd say EMEA better currently, FPX and especially FNC on another level, either that or everyone else became shit
He wasnt reaching masters or champs anyways. Hes playing in a good league and for a team with chances of franchising. Pretty clear upgrade imo
praying to see gtn at lan once again
I'd say fnc or fpx, fnc look slightly better and are almost guaranteed to be franchised. If you're looking to stay in na, maybe optic or eg if you want to be a little different. Of course there are many options but trust you're not getting better while being a sen fan🙏
I'm guessing you chose guild flair because you knew nobody would care enough to insult you, sadly don't think people will care about the post either
replace mocking with scourge to make justice
may I ask where did you find these numbers? in the valorant site it says kj is 8 https://playvalorant.com/en-us/agents/killjoy/
Hey guess what! Playing smokes as a sentinel isn't a far fetched idea either! Its easy to lurk with, you can stronghold with it, and it's why so many sentinels like nAts or even Ayrin himself(!!!!) switched to playing smokes! It's as hard for an entry and hyper agressive player like TenZ to pick up a sentinel than it is for a sentinel player like dapr to pick up smokes, which he has already been doing in icebox! Also, don't know if you've ever played fifa career mode before, but players have set roles. In valorant, however, its pretty common for players to change roles and be good at them, like so many teams have done this year already. yay, nats, derke, alfajer, chronicle, fns, sheydos, sick, cryocells, victor, saadhak, redgar, nukkye, starxo, zeek, etc. It also seems you didn't read the last part of my comment where I didn't say xset should sign dapr, they probably shouldn't do changes for now, nor that dapr would be the best replacement, but that in a hypothetical scenario he would be a net positive change!
Would kind of agree, not sure about kanpeki yet tho. I definitely wouldnt give shahzam as much freedom and control as he has now as igl in sentinels tho. If they can improve the mentality then Im sure they could still play at a good level.
Geddes said he might still play mickey mouses for now, even if bench. Zander on the other hand says he’s not benched, who the hell knows at this point.
C4lypso ex envy, looks like hes improved a lot recently but doybt hes top 3
brother you just said tenz could easily pick up chamber in your other comment, seems like you know more than shahzam and tenz himself! 😂 Of course we're talking hypotheticalls, almost nobody fits 1 to 1 role and gameplay wise to any team, of course they're gonna adapt. Also dephh hasn't played cypher since last season, not like that has to do with anything tho. You also named three controllers, far from countless, but that's just me. I never claimed dapr would be the best signing in the market anyways, that's not the question at all lmao. The question is what teams would benefit from picking them up, not what are the ideal signings for those teams
is he though? I thought he was only benched for now
well what do I know, why does anybody do what they do at sentinels? ayrin used to be a sentinel player for xset too btw, he's not a full time smokes main at all, its just that xset adapted to meta comps the right way unlike sentinels. Also, it's not true that no one plays traditional sentinel roles nowadays, 100t, for example, play a lot of kj/cypher/viper with stellar in a lot of maps with great success. there also aren't countless controllers better than him on the market lmao
because its financially impossible and illogical for faze to sign him, sentinels usually scrim during the day too, and tenz has stayed sleeping through a scrim /right before a match too before. Also, if faze were to sign tenz, trust me this is not how we would find out lol
hot take but not crazy, with two spots only anything could happen, they could have a bad day at a wrong time and its literally gg, also other teams have been looking good
that's literally what happened, did you actually think faze was signing tenz mid season?
emea is worse in that sense, most team's seasons were over after the first vrls ended, in the sense that they couldnt get to champs. the leagues are cool tho
I think the plan was always partial crowd for masters, I expect 10 chairs with riot producers and cameramen cheering with a fnc shirt
they picked it up recently but I gues mad lions is at a different level right now, sometimes it's not always about the names ig
I get that, but again, jack's statements don't have to be a lie, maybe xeta and autumn did ask for a transfer, but maybe only after internal discussions where they were told they were told they wanted to replace them / they were no longer needed.
Vanity can also be telling his truth at the time while being wrong about the outcome, he might have believed that curry would improve them, while it's been the opposite (at least so far).
You're right about the fact that we will never know the full picture, I guess I'm more inclined to believe vanity since he's not gaining anything by partially contradicting his ceo's statements and is in fact putting himself at the center, don't see why he would lie about that.
you're not winning it either tho, also NA time perception

I don't know if anyone knows yet, they might give a spot for lcq, but that would be unfair for teams like fokus and big/og who are in tier1 yet theyre missing lcq anyways. My best guess is that they're just there for orgs to get sympathy points for franchising and players to prove themselves for bigger orgs
1, the statements that vanity gave are confrontational, because it makes the team directly responsible for the failure of the swap (as it was) if it was a "forced" transfer, then fans, as you have in your original post, would not blame the team becayse it was xeta who wanted to leave, instead of them making a change because they felt it would make them better.
2, the statement of the ceo doesn't have to be a lie, there very well could've have been an internal talk within the team, where they told xeta that they wanted to replace him, so he might have made the request after being told he was replaced. Either way, it was the team's interest in curry that sparked the move.
3, vanity hasn't really changed his story, he has just added extra information as to why they made the change. he might have been told to say other stuff by the org, but he's said multiple times that they wanted to make the change. (in this video's comment section, for example: https://youtu.be/9eSTseyauo0)
4, I don't know about t1's status for franchising, but I'd say c9 are closer to getting there than t1. They've also said that they're commited to staying in north america, and every report about franchising in asia seem to include 1 or 2 korean teams (bo hoogland prediction) A change of regions for t1 right now doesn't seem likely. Xeta has also stated that he wants to stay in NA, doubt he would go to t1 if they're planning on changing regions xeta tweet
5, idk exactly what you wanted to say with this, but vanity has also stated that autumn didnt affect the inner workings of the team that much and that jamezirl was always the head coach, it would make sense that t1 would want to take the coach while they're in negotiations with c9 since they didn't have one and autumn would have more protagonism in t1.
I'd also like to hear your view as to why xeta would prefer to jump ships mid season to a team that has nothing to play for instead of giving it his all at c9 for challengers/masters/lcq/champs, and then maybe leave the team if t1 are still there, maybe I'm missing something myself
icebox is also snooze fest, almost every round is the same, the only thing exciting is the occasional flank and unorthodox b hits through middle
maybe but physical trophies is a pointless metric because most competitions in na/emea were online, so having a physical trophy to give to players didnt make much sense bar a few importnat tournaments
ah yes, the public statement of the ceo is the truth, he couldn't possibly be saying that so fans don't go for his throat, or maybe the decision was made internally within the team and that was only what was told to the ceo. Of course, the logical answer is that xeta and autunm wanted to leave the team with masters and champs aspirations to instead go sit for 6 months at the very least playing mickey mouses with t1 because "korean org"
KOI magnum (ex fnc)
He was always meant to debut tomorrow
has it not helped make LoL one of the most popular games of all time? does it not help sell skins? does it not increase the player base even in the slightiest? doesn't it make people think more about LoL even when they're not playing? Don't you think they probably will start making money in the future as esports continue becoming more and more mainstream?
so you think this is a massive charity then? It's very clear that in the long term this will be financially beneficial for riot and the orgs, by further increasing the game's fame, increasing brand values, having a set list fo tier1 teams with known players to sell merchandising or skins, and that will create an "easier" structure to watch pro play for fans. This is definitely a money-driven move, riot and the orgs are private businesses who are driven to eventually make more money, of course this will be benefitial for them if they're so excited about it
I mean you wouldnt even be able to tell it apart from a skinless gun anyways 💀
