Really? Didn’t ace and vk scrim each other last year? Maybe that was an exception.

It can’t be the guard (yet) since they are flying in today.
Sadly I think they may be the Mickey Mouse team.
Hermes
Estrella (gunkorea)
GOLD
Fivek
BeyN
Author of Berserk died last year around Masters Reykjavik 😭😭😭
I think this loud team is different from Vikings. Vikings at champions showed that they can be good. The only way I would lose hope in this team is if they get first rounded in groups (if Nip beats Lev)
It’s hard to say without seeing the tournament using this format, but I prefer 16 teams in a tournament.
Kind of wish there was a Europa league for the lesser teams that didn’t make it. Would help regions with little slots for qualification (example: JP/KR with only one slot).
I feel like a lot of fans stopped hyping drx after their recent performances, even though they only lost to an in form Gambit and C9/FNC. They might not be championship contenders but I think they’ll be fine, maybe even surprise us.
Tbh I think anyone can win. People say first Lan for The Guard but GMB also won their first Lan. G2 and OPTC look scary as well, and who knows FNC might be a surprise again. LOUD could also go far if they can live up to the hype.
Honestly I can’t find the “interview” talking about CR beating PRX in scrims, but maybe it’s from personal streams (Japan has a lot of streamer clip channels).
I think NA and EMEA are pretty close. Most matches have been extremely close. 100t vs GMB/ACE, FNC vs C9, TL vs SEN.
I live in America, but my grandparents’ home had a blackout. Everyone is safe. A bit scary since they live five minutes from the sea.
Also I see the negative comments more during in game chats on twitch/yt than I do on Twitter.
There definitely is some air of negativity after losses, but I don’t think it gets crazy to the point of harassment. It’s mostly “god why do you guys suck after showing some life at Berlin?” kind of thing. Stuff you see in pretty much any competitive fanbases. Or maybe Japanese Val pros just don’t complain about it on Twitter.
Regardless, I still do think JP Val scene has one of the better fanbases in valorant.
No order
Ping Pong
Cowboy Bebop
Gintama
Tatami Galaxy
Akira
Shirobako
Oregairu
Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu
Jujutsu Kaisen
March comes in like a lion
nitr0 sussy imposter… sabotage 100T from inside by benching steel… then vented to cs:go. Truly 5Head imposter
I like the nitr0 among us one but I can’t remember how it goes.
The fact that it was close with one player getting only 10 kills is crazy.
He has been under cheating/boosting allegations atm.
I wish mad lions bought acend out. Maybe I’m just dreaming.
Lakia 😩😩😩🥵🥵🥵😜😜😜
I feel like they could start vct sooner (in Jan instead of Feb) to add games. A lot of upcoming talent don’t have the game time needed to develop.
Xdll looking sharp for a 16 year old. Can’t wait to see how he develops.
I remember tuning into Stanz’s twitch Co-stream of Gen g on breeze and I said they should move to KR valorant instead. Stanz replied saying no one cares about KR valorant and I responded saying no one cares about gen g. Got chat banned lol.
I mean if gambit wins Masters 1 it would be the closest thing to an era (2 major wins, 1 world finalist)
Would be cool to see him co-stream zeta games.
Interestingly One of zeta’s most popular personality is their coach Xqq (most popular after Laz/StylishNoob)
Crazy raccoon CR cup brought a lot of casual viewers into the FPS scene. This also coincided with the rise of CR valo roster, and many popular Japanese streamers co-streamed their games. Zeta has the more hardcore fans that come from cs with Absolute, and coach xqq brought some people over from overwatch and rainbow six.
Hmmm I genuinely hope Sengoku wasn’t trolling on that map.
Hexad getting farmed by something and kobra lol.
2/3 will most likely be Zeta/reignite and CR/Jadeite (CR and Zeta most popular teams).
Only 3 matches will be streamed on 2/19. The games streamed is unknown.

You make it sound like having a free win team for other region is bad. It’s not like we have 2 slots either. Japanaese teams lose games but they also occasionally play close games (GMB vs CR, Zeta vs Kru).
They are definitely the weakest region that has automatic qualification I’ll give you that.
I think the biggest issue with Japan is the format. Very little game is required to advance into Challengers playoffs (3 bo2 group stage games). Open qualifiers are bo3, but those aren’t games tier 1 Japanese teams care about.
