although auckland isn't like top 10 uni in the world, it's standards are not that much lower then other good uni's (except if you mean like ivy league). If you speak fluently then it isn't really a problem for those fields but english in general is just a very useful skill for any degree so I would say do it anyway.
I'm doing actuarial science (cuz data sci and compsci is so fucking boring), the way the actuarial science works if your working in uk, aus, nz, (i think america?) then what uni you go to literally doesn't matter like just go to nz's victoria. The reason why is because actuarial science has a body that is separate from unis that give you 8 exams, going to unis in one of the previously mentioned countries will do 3ish of them then you get a job that will sponsor you while you do the rest. actuarial science is in demand everywhere so it doesn't matter what uni you go to, anyone will hire you. Similar idea to data science as well (not compsci from my understanding though).
