You're not wrong. He said on stream that he still wants to play at the highest level. This is most likely a short term contract or low buyout clause, with both party benefiting from each other. Def valuable experience for Dsg players

Uh you need rewatch the video you posted then.... He said 5000 minimum
He just use 5000 as basis for the video. There's no way he would give a detailed exact amount for each players and staff, its just bad business practice.
Thank you. I watch toast, which is how I found out about ludwig. Both are quite similar imo, on first impression toast can come out as an egostical, mean and rude person.
I didn't really care about the esports side of valorant till DSG. It got me more into it and that's how I ended up in vlr
I think alot of his content or jokes are obvious sarcasm or friendly banter. I can see why you think he is douchey based on first impression.
I don't watch him much, but I know a few good things that he did.
There was a streamer that scammed 200k+ by making excuses to borrow money from his loyal followers. The streamer used that money to gamble and lost it all. From what I remember Ludwig ended picking up the tab and paying that community back.
The smash esport was abandoned by its publisher /Nintendo. He ended up promoting and funded a couple tournament.
From what I know of, he doesn't take stream sub/donation but it goes to his mods
Those acts alone makes me think he is better than most top streamers already.
