Now to understand what i am saying here it is better to open both bracket on other tabs while reading this

Above is bracket used for SEA challengers finals

if you look at bracket closely
4 teams i.e. Full Sense, Paper Rex, X10 and CBT
would not have came 10th place no matter what

now onto masters 2

here lets imagine KRU and Crazy Racoon lose their first matches in upper round 1

both teams goes to lower round 1

Now imagine FNC, X10,V1 and sharks losing thier matchups in upper quaterfinals

Now there are two case Scenarios
Case 1 :
FNC and V1 goes to lower round 1
so FNC vs CR and V1 vs KRU for 9th/10th place elimination

X10 and Sharks Goes to lower round 2 will fight against winners of Lower Round 1 for 7th/8th place elimination

Case 2 :
X10 and Sharks goes to lower ruond 1
so X10 vs CR and Sharks vs KRU for 9th/10th place elimination

FNC and V1 goes to lower round 2 will fight against winners of Lower Round 1 for 7th/8th place elimination

The reason why I said all this for is simple
if Case 1 is followed then 4 teams i.e. Vikings,x10,sharks,Nuturn will get guaranteed 175 points as they wont get in 9th/10th place

if Case 2 is followed then 2 teams i.e. Sentinels and Team Liquid will get guaranteed 175 points as they wont get in 9th/10th place

SEA Challengers finals Followed case 1 but it doesn't make sense to be followed here
So I hope case 2 is followed in rekjyavik

Also if they follow case 2 then riot is not giving brazil as much advantage as people are thinking ... because 1 eu and 1 na team have guaranteed 175 points while both brazil team have a chance of ending up with 150 points

bro you get points depending on your rank... those points might mean a lot for champions qualification

I think iceland timing will be close to EU timings ...LOL MSi is in iceland and it start 7 hrs before NA VCT games starts

For me it felt like one of the major reason why V1 qualified is because of wippie... he was MVP of V1 in challengers finals... This will be a hard blow to them... Hopefully They will be able to manage good results with new sub in....

You get stars when you post more... you lose stars when you get lots of downvotes.... upvotes only help in combating downvotes... for example bebop he is one of the most frequent user on this site so he had tons of upvotes.. one day he made a dumb post and was most downvoted post at that time and people started downvoting many other of his post so he had approx 200-300 downvotes in total but there was not a single dent on his stars... since he had already farmed many upvotes.

There is no way they do this... thats such a shitty bracket format... and this is first ever valorant lan tournament... no way in hell they choose that format... 4 teams in upper round 1 have such a disadvantage over other teams also 4 of teams in that format have gauranteed top 8 positions...

also i remember seeing that bracket when sea challengers finals was ongoing... it showed 16 team double elim bracket ... and 6 teams were not mentioned and in its position it was written "bye bye"... so it was by default win for team whose opponents were bye bye... and they later removed matched with bye bye as one of team and thats how the bracket we see there now was formed

Match for third place can be arranged on semifinal day

This is how i believe the iceland format will be
10 Teams so 2 Groups of 5 teams - Group A and Group B
In Each group each team will fight once against all teams in that Group
So 10 Group A matches and !0 Group B matches

May 24-28 ( Group Stage ) :
2 Group A matches and 2 Group B Matches Each Day

May 29 (SemiFinals) :
Top 2 Teams from each Group will fight here
SF1 : First in Group A vs Second in Group B
SF2 : First in Group B vs Second in Group A

May 30 (Finals) :
Winners of Both SemiFinals fight for the title of VCT MASTERS 2 CHAMPION
Winner of SF1 vs Winner of SF2

Also they might add a breeze showmatch before final match on may 30 with players from remaining 8 teams
since only one match will be played on this day.

and that's why they are in run for seat in iceland unlike gamelanders... although there is more to their problem than astra but adapting to changes and meta is important if you want to stay on top in this game... There is a reason why all of first strike teams are out of rekjyavik... Those teams ,since they are winning fear to do changes thinking they might fall off if they make mistake ... and now are out because they refused to change ..
