I have no idea. It was fine to hold like that for maybe 10-12 seconds, but after the they should have tried to reposition to hell and gen.

Ascent was EG's map. I thought it would be 2-1 for PRX when the maps were picked.

posted about a year ago

We shouldn't assume a save in a 1v2.

posted about a year ago

It's a coin flip because PRX dominates on some rounds and then gives away free clutches with their shitty positioning.

posted about a year ago

PRX switches off their brain after the first wave of util is done and they get an advantage. They need to stay on till the round is over, and they can be the best team ever, but they just won't do it.

posted about a year ago

This was EG's map.

posted about a year ago

Yeah it was a 13-5 win for PRX if they just played mid rounds with a tiny bit more sense.

posted about a year ago

All they have to do is use the brain while W-keying. They threw so hard. EG goes for the percentage plays, and PRX doesn't think, so EG wins.

posted about a year ago

it was 1v2, not 1v4. shouldn't assume a save easily

Bro that was just PRX being dumb. C0M took years to reach there and PRX still watching the same angle?

it's C0M 1v9

Farm the ult orbs more.

posted about a year ago

Kinda true. 90% chance for the upper bracket team to win it all. EG vs PRX today is important af.

posted about a year ago

I don't think it will ever go above 10.

posted about a year ago

I hope PRX bans Fracture and lets Haven stay. EG will probably ban Haven for them. Depends on which team has more confidence.

posted about a year ago

I think the result is gonna depend on the map picks. They went to 5 maps the last time. The 3 maps that get selected are gonna matter today.

What maps do you guys think will be played?

yes

deadlock might actually do well against PRX

EG and PRX have the best ones

Breeze is coming back, Fracture is going out, and we don't know how the new map is gonna be.

The game is going to do fine. The meta will change a bit, and people will learn to play around this. People are complaining that these changes are only for the pros and damages ranked. People in ranked don't give much importance to orb farming right now. Just farm the orbs as a team every round, and you will still be fine.

posted about a year ago

It's also to reduce the escape chances. In 2021, people only considered the dash to be an escape ability, but as the game has aged, pros and ranked players have figured out how to use the updrafts to escape (and even the smokes). They want to change both the double updrafts and the escape potential.

in tokyo, egs were the only one who stood a chance against fnc

And EG was taken to 5 maps in a close series by a team playing with a sub. They even changed their comps to accommodate the sub. It's not criminal to assume that PRX could do better with something. Both EG and PRX would have improved from Tokyo. We will know tomorrow. None of the 4 teams are overrated.

posted about a year ago

They are not overrated. There are people who support each of the 4 remaining teams. I think whoever wins the EG vs PRX upper final will win the grand final. The stat you saw about PRX having more support is just because the team has more supporters. It's not the same as being overrated.

posted about a year ago

They took EG to 5 maps in a close series with CGRS playing instead of something. If EG was considered to be top 2 back then, PRX can be considered top 3. People have been rating PRX as top 3 since Tokyo. People expect PRX to play better with something, which is why they rate them so high now. With Fnatic getting dropped down to lowers, people started to believe that PRX could win the event.

No, it's not too late. It's possible. There will still be players who start to play this year who will hit radiant in a few months.

posted about a year ago

I think he wants the events to be spread out. Right now, it's 7 months continuous, followed by 5 months break. He wants the breaks to be in between because it simply makes sense. Obviously, he's getting paid to play a video game like you said, but that doesn't mean that he can't point out when something dumb is being decided. It's not about being spoiled. He is not asking for more time off. He is asking for the existing time off to be more sensible. He is criticizing Riot's decision to put all the events back to back followed by a huge break. the VCT 2024 season looks fine to me though. It's at least better than this year's. We won't have anything going on after Champions 2023 till next year, right?

More people playing the game. More players feeling comfortable buying skins.

Nice. Lol, what do you mean you don't know? Which one? I graduated from a 2nd gen IIT last year.

posted about a year ago

Nobody knows. I think it's nitr0 though.

posted about a year ago

I meant that the team yay and nitr0 had is missing now. So they probably split up. Yay going to NRG, nitr0 to SEN?

posted about a year ago

Yes, I had the same feeling that it's nitr0. SEN goes after clout.

nitr0

posted about a year ago

He left Counter Strike. He said that he wanted to come back to Valorant as an IGL weeks ago. He was also playing a ton of sentinels on streams.

posted about a year ago

It's probably nitr0. The yay + nitr0 team has been missing in scrims, no?

I can see SEN trying out nitr0. He's got the minimum clout requirement that SEN wants. He plays sentinels (pancada back on smokes). He wants to IGL for a team. I also saw a post saying the name starts with N. Dunno where that came from.

Don't worry bro. If what you say is true, you will get hired by an equally good company, while she will be one of the first to be laid off if a massive lay-off happens again. Focus only on yourself. All the best.

Just curious, which university?

Jinggg and Derke. Jinggg uses Raze util better, but he makes some questionable plays while Derke plays more methodically. They both have very similar all-time stats on Raze. Jinggg's stats are worse in the last 90 days, maybe because he can play more aggressive with something on the team.

Several countries in APAC and their teams are just as far away from their franchised team server as Brazil and LATAM are from the Americas franchised server.
Riot is not targeting Brazil. This happened because they decided to have just 3 leagues in franchising. It fked up several countries, not just 1 or 2. If you only have 3 leagues and you base them in specific locations, then it's clear that this issue will occur.

I think people were also fresh from Champions, where they beat Fnatic in a series. It seemed like Cryo would lift the team up a lot, but then Sean Gares left, Cryo took time to get back in form, and 100T kept getting worse.
