OH MY GOD that's so huge! And one of my favorite musicals and one of my favorite Sondheim's. Congrats!!!

Once upon a time...

Okay so couple things (I'm a genshin shill)
1) Buggy as hell, esp if on PC. Final boss fight I just laughed the entire time because it was frozen and the audio kept skipping like a record.
2) Story and world building is not great. They explain new concepts with NEWER concepts and it's like ???? But, they seem to have all the right pieces. But, I am still largely confused. Like Genshin, there are a bunch of moving parts in the world and it tries to tell you all at once.
3) Building characters is SO MUCH work. Also, they like .... don't explain builds very well? Like it took me TOO long to figure out that the echoes of monsters I slain were essentially artifacts.
4) Combat is SO much more satisfying than Genshin.
5) World exploration is cool, music is cool.
6) I'm excited for expansions to see if I'll still dedicate more time to it.

I like Tyla Jane -- she has a bunch of feel food/self-confidence songs with a sort of Sabrina Carpenter Pop vibe

I've been thinking about playing this and AFK Journey -- I'm a giant genshin fan and nerd so I hope it gives the same vibes!

5 talented individuals may not make a team, if that makes sense.
Dumb analogy, but you can have all the ingredients but you need a chef/recipe

did i just make a let him cook joke accidentally

Shrek 2, Barbie as Princess and the Pauper, The Lion King, Mulan and Stuck in the Suburbs (it’s a DCOM but it counts!!!)

Hello, I don't speak for all women, obviously, but as a woman who plays this game a lot, I often find we do not talk because when we do, people will begin to sexualize our voice/anything we do and be incredibly inappropriate, among many other things. Be straight up sexist in terms of in-game ability or a woman's role in society, molly or literally corner us so we can't play the game...

Other things are more implicit: do not listen to what I will say but if a male counterpart says the exact same thing, that's a great idea we should do that! Constant backseating of me but not my fellow male players (and it's like "plant the bomb" type things ... EXTREME micromanaging that the other people do not get.) And if I ask them to stop, they don't. Ignoring them doesn't stop. If you mute, they molly or just throw.

That being said, those are just bad experiences that have happened enough for me to watch what I say. Of course, I have had fantastic teammates who are men who make me feel safe and stick up for me when that happens. (LoMein, if you see this, you're a real one I haven't forgotten you!)

Just trying to offer my insight. We just want to play the game and the best way to do that sometimes is not using our mic. It comes down to our enjoyment and, honestly, safety, sometimes.

Hey y'all! Happy Tuesday

I've been seeing a lot of discussion regarding the Ludwig X Tarik Invitational with a LOT of weight put on the results. Regardless of your allegiance to any team, player, etc. ... I am very curious as to your personal views regarding these offseason tournaments/events ... Do you think it's a sign of things to come? Or do you not put much stock in them?

Hello! I was there in the crowd -- there were some noticeably empty seats, esp on days that were not grand finals, but it was LOUD. Had multiple warnings on my watch to leave the area since it was too loud. My right ear is still a little funky.

Hey friend -- I've been there. You're probably getting burnt out. Remember that self care is the best care, and DONE IS GOOD. Take care of yourself. Study with the pomodoro method (I think that's what its called!)

And no matter what -- you got this.

I would recommend cutting back on studying but I don't know you and I don't know your load. You will crush your exams, no problem, regardless of if you study a million hours or like 3.

Sending light <3

Hey everyone! So, I'm looking into a few things for a piece I am writing about cheaters in VALORANT and I wanted to get the community sentiment.

Do you think cheaters are an issue? Is it a GROWING issue? How many cheaters have you encountered?

Your response might be featured in a video. Ty loves glhf in your games! <3

Yes. Always have, always will. They're are a force to be reckoned with and we would be foolish to not regard them as such.

Deadlock is playable in LCQ and GC2 (for NA, at least.)

I've been wondering this for a while ... how do y'all watch the games? With friends in Discord? Alone on your TV? Do you engage in Twitch chat/VLR when something happens (ala the ending to FNC v EG?) I'm extremely curious to see how you all engage in the games themselves.

make sure you treat yourself today <3

Also, FWIW, I don't think Riot for viewership purposes would want to see games we have "already seen before" -- new match ups are always more exciting and a bigger draw, in my opinion.

It is a random draw. So, while unfortunate, it is the fairest way of it. I agree with LycheeBlade (for transparency and also content purposes) that it would be super cool to see a live draw.

This random draw ALSO gave us NRG v FNATIC which I am extremely excited for! And, honestly, I am very curious how the DRX v PRX rematch, if you will, will turn out. It's not all doom and gloom! Every game is one to be excited about. :)

God I would also love an NRG x FNATIC match.

If you haven't tried it, highly recommend either Fire Emblem: Three Houses or Fire Emblem: Engage. Neither are like GOTY category but they're fun, engaging (no pun intended) and if you're into like the social aspect of games, both have it somewhat (TH MUCH more than E.)

Besides that, Okami is a game that has been CRIMINALLY underrated for years at this point. Highly recommend it.

Hope you find games and have some fun!
