People overestimate what they can do in a day, and hugely underestimate what they can do in a year. My advice is to build momentum: write down 10 things you want to do about yourself that can lead to a better life, things like "i want to be physically active in some way", be generic and lenient when writing the list. Sort them from highest impact to lowest impact, and commit to the first point of the list on the first month, point 1 and 2 on the second month and so on... after a few months you'll start seeing some results, and after a few more months the other people are gonna notice a change as well, and that's a big motivation injection and you'll be glad you took action
