Who's gonna tell OP that a team having a good performance requires another team to have a bad performance against them?
Not to ruin the fun but whenever one team wins, another team loses, and you'll look at how the losing team did and say that they didn't play at their peak.

Honestly, if you took any current top team and send them back in time to 2021 with the knowledge they have now, they would destroy "peak sentinels". That's just the nature of the game evolving.

And especially with only 3 interregional events in the whole year, you're never going to have a bunch of "top contenders". There can only be as many winners as there are tournaments for them to win. That's the nature of VCT.

Yeah, the only lcq winners in past champions events to make it out of the group stage are C9 and Liquid (2x), The large majority of LCQ teams get grouped.

Who the fuck cares about baby LCQ tournament which is just qualification for an international tournament where the LCQ winner can easily bomb out of

The international tournaments are what matter here, not the damn qualifiers

Also NA beat all of brazil, both in LCQ and at tokyo, so there's that too
