rito games gonna def have more than enough money if they keep releasing skins like the new bundle into the game
Would be cool if there was like a region clash after China gets more developed and after we get 48 teams in VCT so I came up with one, let me know what yall think bout it. I think it's pretty good for ending the argument as to who is the strongest region and would be an interesting LAN.
Groups:
Basically it'll have like the LOCK//IN format for group stages where the regions are placed against each other and the teams will face teams from that region with a similar series/game record as them. They will play against each other in single elim, for example EMEA vs AMERICA could be like FUT vs SEN and then the bottom barrel could be like KOI vs FURIA (using this year's stat record). The selection of what region plays who can be determined either by how those regions did internationally and put them against the stronger ones or can just be randomly drawn (I know could be rigged because it is rito games but still one of the better ways).
Then we get to the second games where 24 teams will remain and will swap to another opponent region this time with whoever has more teams so like if EMEA had 7 teams progress then they would face another region of teams that had similar record as them (I know confusing but we can't be sure that each region will have the same amount of teams progress).
Swiss Stage:
Afterwards when we have 12 teams remaining we get to the swiss stage where people can chill down a bit and can have more chances of qualing where only the top 8 move to playoffs. You can face off against any region even your own in the swiss stage.
Playoffs:
Using Shanghai's method of playoff placing they can have it so top 4 teams get to choose who they want to face in the playoffs from the bottom 4 teams, this is so there is a reward for placing in the top 4 and having a better chance of qualing, now I don't know if it should be single elim or double elim but I feel like single elim would fit the entire tourney format better with higher stakes but then again not a lot of people like single elim in the first place.
There's probably a lot of errors in this formatting but is this better than what leo faria can cook up?

Does anyone else think that T2 should have LANs? I feel like it would be cool if they slapped a LAN or two in the middle of the season where the top teams from each region had a chance to compete with each other. They could make it like pre franchising and give every team that went like an extra 50-100 points to help them qual for ascension and could give the t2 pros a taste of what t1 feels like if they did win ascension because most of these t2 pros have zero experience after they ascend. Not only this but then they could also just go full points and get rid of that stupid play good split 2 = qual for ascension. Plus this could actually give tier 2 orgs an incentive to actually stick around in tier 2 and not just disband their rosters after they didn't win ascension.

See I can understand that because it was a very important match and all but still the chances of knowing the exact number just seems so low to me that it just feels weird.
So I was rewatching the BLG elimination game vs NRG to shit on this Simp4S0m kid by copying what pansy was saying but then it hit me, how tf does she just have the "its been 614 days since the optic core missed out of playoffs" just on standby. Like that shit as a caster surely isn't something that you would even imagine in a lifetime, NRG (optic core) getting eliminated by a random Chinese team??? Now I'm thinking bout it even more because shit feels like something rito scripted because no shot you would even remember those numbers and then I go back to SEN's win over Gen.G where sideshow was like "1000 days and counting... The last time they were at an international event" just seems to match that description as well because where tf did bro get those numbers from or even why did he have them memorized. But the SEN one is more reasonable since its pretty easy to remember the last time they were at a LAN but the NRG one just doesn't line up with anything.

+28 EMEA grand finals, +13 EMEA lower finals, top frag against TH in upper finals, +27 against KC, +24 against TL. They should make it so if you buy one of the VCT team's bundle and you also have one of the champs skins (2021, 2022, or 2023) you can select a variant of it as the VCT team bundle that you bought. After you do this it can replace the yellow glowing thing in the finisher and add the team's logo to it and if they want to make it better they can add the team's color scheme to the finisher as well. They can also replace the glowing things like the side of champs 2021 vandal, the thing on the back of champs 2022 phantom, and the little heartbeat thing on the champs 2023 vandal as the logo of your respected team as well. Would give more incentive to buy both of the team bundle and the champs skin lines too.

How do we think this map is gonna turn out in pro play? Personally I think its gonna be pretty shit and if not many team's permaban just because of how bad the map is. The only excuse that people can muster up about this map is that it's "fun" for the normal player but since in pro play people are playing to win and not exactly only to have fun the map is gonna be pretty shit.
Examples
Mid - An op or even a normal person holding with a rifle on defense has 3 choke points they can play around with (4 if you include breakable). I don't know about you but if I'm an attacker I ain't pulling 4 smokes out my ass and I don't know if you can get much value out of double dome controller on this map either.
A Site - Plant bomb either default or bridge and just pray to RNG that you get kills when they tap.
Attacker spawn - what the fuck is the ledge doing that if you jump off it you take fall damage, I'm pretty sure pros aren't stupid enough to do that but why tf is it there.
B site - Once again plant default or near the ledge and pray to RNG that you get kills when they tap.
Also can we talk about how A heaven and B heaven are positioned in such a weird way that the defenders can find so much value?
Good things about the map:
The concept of being able to fall off the map is good, you can make plays with agents like yoru or omen to get away, but that does not make up for the shit ass map design that abyss is bro.

Now lets see the APAC teams, DRX the known chokers who can't make a LAN and have to keep swapping out their players, PRX the known chokers who always fumble under the pressure, and RRQ, idfk anything bout these guys except for after stage 2 when they added Monyet and became a decent team.

Then tell me how GENG managed to get top seed with a 3-3 record and SEN didn't even qual with a 3-3 record, nice "shitty group" while SEN is facing against C9 and KRU (normal stage menaces) and G2 (3rd place at Shanghai and arguably the best in AMERICA at the time). Now lets look at GENG's group, GE (bunch of frauds), T1 (bunch of throwers), TS (throwers at the time), and bleed (I don't even need to explain this one).
I loved how people were saying that GENG and SEN were different because one qual'ed for playoffs and the other didn't despite having the same record, now you look at the playoff teams and see that 4/5 teams in SEN's bracket are already qual'ed. It was so much easier for GENG to qual with dog teams like GE, Bleed, and T1 in their bracket but was so difficult because SEN had actually good teams in their bracket and people thought that it was only because SEN fell off or had a fluke run. And yes SEN did throw against EG but then again RRQ beat GENG as well lmao and GENG still got top seed.
I also enjoyed watching something throw that post plant on icebox by peeking out first for no reason! Very entertaining gameplay from them against 100T Iām pretty sure they were having fun during that game too, no stress at all!
Based on antistrating stats
DRX and NAVI lost to both GENG and TH in elim and was the only reason they didn't qual to both events, both of them made massive roster changes and now the teams don't feel the same anymore. Sad that Rito makes the worst formats ever and completely screws over top tier teams when they still have the will and confidence to play the game and compete.
CGRS in tokyo had the most aura out of any apac player
They also only had good placements because they had to play other EMEA teams in elim... (except for TH)
Which team created the jett, sova, kayo, omen, and kj meta on ascent? I think it was OPTIC/ENVY but I could be wrong tho.
