Does anyone else think that VCT has slowly went from strats based to more of flashy aim based? Like nowadays I see more teams running a pretty default execute on a site and someone gets a flashy clip then actual masterclass calling that you would've seen in 2022/2023 (or the exception of g2 who plants and then trent clutches by running away with missiles and somehow aim diffing everyone).
If what the OP said is true then yes Verno is also in the wrong, it could be because of ego that FNS didn't take responsibility which is wrong since he's the leader but Verno blaming EVERYTHING onto FNS just ruins the entire team. How many teams have won a trophy or was successful because a player was blaming the IGL every single time they lost a match?

He was regarded as the mastermind behind OPTIC and how they even managed to have the success they did (apparent in their games). Also despite only winning one tournament the team had the most success out of any team EVER in terms of a yearly performance. After the OPTIC days he qualified to every single LAN in 2023 and created the second best team in America that year. Had his team not thrown/gotten cocky (cough cough ardiis) against BLG and PRX we would've had a much different story then we have today about placements.

You do realize that Victor played in two different eras of NRG while Marved played in only one, the era in 2024 being the one where NRG fired the chef and made a lot of changes so Marved didn't get the same treatment and pleasures that Victor did in the first era of NRG. Victor is clearly talking about his time on the team in 2023 and is just gassing that up over what happened in 2024 which shows the difference in performance.
NRG without a proper IGL and a proper duelist did better than with an actual IGL and proper duelist... What does this mean for FNS

They should make it so there are sections for upcoming matches, like tier 1, tier 2, etc. This way if you check the upcoming matches section you don't have to scroll all the way down or have to open another screen just to see when the next tier 1 match is since tier 2 and others kind of fill it up. This way they could also add favoriting sections so if you don't like GC or don't want it then you don't have to ever see it, or if you want to favorite tier 1 and a certain tier 2 region you can.

S1mon bringing up smoggy not training his aim as hard is kind of crazy since he is one of the best aimers in the world, S1mon is the one that needs to improve the most as he is their weakest link, blaming others for not training as hard as him when he is the one who needs to improve the most makes me agree more with the coach even though S1mon helped them win champs.
Going from tier 1 to tier 2 isn't even the biggest fall off, there are some pros who were the best at their time (e.g cNed) and are now benched/retired/teamless which is worse than playing in tier 2.
