I want to share something that helped me. 'Just quit dude.' I know its hard, and youre probably asking how to do it: Here is what I did

Take yourself an inspirational role model. The only property he/she must have is, that he/she has the same goal as you (here were speaking about discipline)

Then fall in love with that role model. Soon you will find yourself try to mimic everything that person does, and if it is a person with good morals, then you will automatically turn into a good person. Its basically a dickrider in a good way. Its the easiest way to manipulate your brain, from my experience.
