I realized earlier that sen took out 2/4 of the 1st seeds and played 3 of them (GenG, Fnatic, EDG). If they win this tourney they would have beaten all 4 1st seeds to do so (EDG/LEV in lower finals, the other one in upper finals, if they manage to make it to that point) Would actually be the most legitimate win in my book.
EDIT: That being said Heretics could also claim the exact same, they already sent Fnatic and GenG to elimination games so both Sen and Heretics can make the hardest run possible for a champs win
No need to flank when he can flash them irl with the stage lights bouncing off his magnificent dome.
You made me realize that Sen has played against all the other 1st seeds aside from Americas this tourney, and sent 2 of them (GenG and Fnatic) home.
You guys will probably win pistol again and run over Sentinels given you’re on attack side now.
It’s an attacker sided map right? I don’t think Sen has a huge enough lead to win.
Fnc got 4 rounds in first half, think that’s more than enough to win given the switch in sides.
He may not have the best stats, but the amount of intangibles in mid-rounding and strategy and crazy clutches he brings to the team is astounding. I remember his 2 clutches vs Loud that helped Sen regain momentum in Kick-Off and Madrid in a 1v3 and 1v4 respectively.
Monyet can’t even go to PRX anyways, he’s contracted to RRQ till 2026 so he’s not even a free agent to pick up.
JohnQT has never played on an EU team either for that matter, he was developed in NA T2 after leaving Morocco.
Korea owns China in LoL though historically.
It’s because JohnQT never actually played in EU, he went to Canada for college and spent the mass majority of his development in T2 NA (had a small stint in Morocco early on) then went to T1 (Sen) due to Kaplan being the head coach of Sentinels (was previously his coach on Ghost Gaming in T2).
Not sure how much he can do with Termi as coach.
We’re all wrong, EDG clears us all and is going to prove that China is number 1, it’s Inevitable.
If the script is correct, TH will beat Sen in grand finals.
In hindsight bias The Guards financials were poor, seeing how they laid-off their personnel earlier last year (they were running on a shoestring budget) and disbanded quickly soon after their ascension win, which made them a bad candidate for franchising.
Entirely possible depending on how the map ban picks go, but FPX didn’t have a close game vs Sen.
Boaster had heavy expectations coming off from last year, it really messes with you when you fall off hard this early in the competition (lost to DRX in groups when you’ve been their father the past year, and getting soundly beaten by Heretics in map 1 and barely losing map 2 after choking a 5v3). It’s a far cry from the grand slam he expected this year and he knows he widely underperformed both as an igl and as a individual player this past series.
It was an EMEA matchup, there was always going to be one EMEA team winning and one EMEA team losing today.
Zekken’s neon looks crazy good ngl.
Sigh why do Sen fans have to bait like this…
I do think winning a masters automatically disqualifies them from being a fraud.
You want Heretics to become the new PRX?
I’m responding late but the cats out of the bag given that they played neon on sunset today, so it doesn’t matter anymore.
What was the biggest difference between the GenG vs DRX matches that made him less effective individually today? He was frying vs GenG but as you mentioned struggled in games like today.
EDIT: What do the other pro players do that you think would make Sacy a more effective shooter overall?
Poor Monyet, got sacrificed for PRX to end up like this.
Every team is dangerous, no one’s a free lunch at this point, including Fnatic.
DRX is frying, I’m scared for Sen too.
Sentinels was voted most overrated team before champs started, there’s no way anyone though they were the top 2 strongest contenders.
Stop, you’re turning Seoul into a library with that statement ☠️
They took down 100T in split 2, which made them lose out on the champ point differential that allowed Sen to make it as 4th seed.
People don’t magically forget everything sen fans have said this year.
You’re a prophet they actually did a Madrid Finals Icebox.
Keria ain’t looking too hot on T1 right now, Guma is desperately trying to put out the fires atm.
Update: Sen got a lot more than 12 rounds total.
They aren’t last place, FPX was the first team to go out in Groups.
That’s not a tough game if you’re predicting GenG to smash Sen.
Classic DRX, repeating their stance from 2020 with the fans who were angry about the BL treatment of their LoL roster.
Could put Saadhak if not FNS, Oogway has to be one of the wisest characters in KFP.
If they can get through that gauntlet then I’ll agree that they deserve to be at champs.
