this year they went full budget roster. Next year i could see the org convince to spend big since they have something to build on. Meaning so far Lohan has been financially restricted. I hope the show ambition. All they lack is a bit more player quality.
He was insane beginning of 2024 for Vitality on flex. Issue was runner heavy underperforming on duelist. The switch made a lot of sense for Runners performance also.
I agree he is best on duelist but i see him as world class on other roles too.
On Liquid you would fix all his issues: He gets a strong coach with Lohan with an established system with a strong IGL in Nats. Currently he could both be an amazing replacement for Serial on flex and Kamo on duelist. I do think serial is the bigger weakpoint right now so there is the reasonable tendency to put him on flex.
I am thoroughly convinced that Liquid would turn into a champs winning contender with Sayf added.
It would be by far the best storyline and really deserved for Nats. Its really sad that all the challenges have been thrown their way. It will be hard

Oh yeah, i'm arguing for a roster swap into 2026 mosly. This year is more complicated but honestly i wouldnt be shocked if it worked with the right players.

BTW this recent narrative that he can only frag on duelist is also verifiably false. His entire career he has been a top tier fragger on multiple roles. Even as late as this very year he fragged out on inis. He just moved to duelist because he was mechanically much better than his teammates in Liquid & Vitality and as you know you can leverage your aim better with your gun out.
The only issue with Sayf is his IGLing. he just isnt good at that. Plus his coach is a bum. Lohan gives Nats a big stratbook for every map every week. Faded just does fuck all.

what? Thats not the reason the team imploded. The IGLing is just bad. They could get away with it early in the season because every team played bad but not anymore.
If anything trexx was at fault anyway. The rest of the team agrees with that perspective.
Sayf played perfectly fine on last years vitality. The only time he had disagreements was with a washed redgar. And that happens all the time in teams.
The sayf hate train has cemented so many false ideas in the heads of people.

as of this moment if i have to sort by quality i would say:
S-tier: Nats, Keiko
B-tier: Kamo
C-tier: Patitek, Serial
C is a must. B should also be improvable. I would try for comeback if Mates cant keep him first or Sayf. If you cant get them look for whoever performs the best in T2 from the really young guys for the rest of the year. Izzy is really good. He is an option. Advantage for Kamo however is flexibility and team chemistry. He does some calling. So Izzy will have to frag much better to replace him.
