As an owner of a business, he's allowed to say that indian players do not instill confidence in him yet to play at that level (though LF clears atm), because it's his company and he's allowed to put money into where he thinks, is the right investment. I honestly have no sort of problem with the "only 1 Indian" in the team.
BUT, The problem for me is the fact that his project is failing in front of his own eyes ; despite so much expenditure, time and effort put into these guys, this team ends up going winless. Not only is it frustrating for the fans, but also embarrassing from the organisation's standpoint. Like, why should anyone "trust a process" that is 6 months in the making (excluding 2023 season) with a 1 win 5 loss record (with the win being against the next worst performing team at the moment)?
Anyways, it's still the middle of this stage, hopefully they shut me up and surprise the fuck out of me.
For Brazil :
My predictions for Champions 2023 :
More than a "is this team better than the others in the Pacific League", GE's goal with this team is not short term success with the best players.
Presently, can this team win a Major with the current roster? No.
But, GE's LONG TERM goal with this roster is to sculpt the best available talent in the world, with the best coaching possible, to its maximum potential - which the players, support staff and management believe they can achieve with this lineup (to win Majors in the Leagues).
Seeing how Rushi Bhai (CEO) and Vatsal (Manager) have pulled this off domestically, previously with just Indian talent, I have faith that this roster has the potential to be ATLEAST at the top three, if not the best.
However to answer the question, I think GE is a solid top 5 or top 6 team, but I see them being one of the best teams in the World by the next year's Circuit or even this years' Champions.
no offence but atleast get the accent right if you want to make fun of the way he speaks - he's from bangalore and not chennai.
