The RRQ game is also a good tell I think. If they beat both RRQ and NS they are probably really good

I’d like to talk about TALON’s chances in the Stage 1 Groups. I have categorized teams in TALON’s opponents here.

TALON should beat
TS (Week 1)
ZETA (Week 4)

TALON could beat
RRQ (Week 2)
NS (Week 3)

TALON could struggle
T1 (Week 5)

TALON should be favored in the match with TS and ZETA as they should take the 2W from these teams. The fact that the T1 match is last also helps because they can get momentum off wins from weaker opponents. So their chance of making playoffs is high considering that they only need 1 more win from RRQ T1 and NS (they beat at kickoff). Seeding in playoffs will be extremely important as 1st seed gets the bye to the Upper SF and only needs 1 win to make Toronto. On the other hand, fourth seed is horrible because they will start in the lowers. Considering their group, I would expect them to make top 3 with ease. Would really love to discuss with TALON fans, TALON haters, Thai fans, SEA bros and essentially everyone.

his stats are quite insane no?

Agree. They might struggle initially in early group matches but I completely trust them to improve towards the playoffs and hopefully qualify. Lowkey they might have the best firepower in APAC.

Bonus
Q: (About the showmatch) Looking at the players in both teams. Who is the best player in each team?
A: For the Thai team, of course it's my friend primmie. Probably TenZ for the International team.

Q: What is the biggest obstacle in living in Korea?
A: Langauge. Some people there can't communicate in English.
Q: Have you learned any Korean?
A: No but I learned swear words. I can't say it here.

Here are some of TLN JitBoyS' interview in Thai before the Grand Final match.

Q: How are TALON and yourself's preparation for Stage 1 going?
A: (We) just formed our team lately, started scriming for 1-2 week. I think this roster has potential.

Q: What do you think about individual players in this line-up?
A: Good. killua has experience competing. Only concern is thyy who is a new kid that just started competing. We just need to continue preparing.

Q: What do you feel about TALON going full Thai?
A: Happy to play with my friends. I already know them. Glad to play with Thai roster again.

Q: Can you give a promise to make Champions again? To be our hope.
A: Of course, will do my best.

Q: What do you think about the Grand Finals between G2 and T1, Who do you think will win?
A: Personally, I am rooting for T1 because they are from our region.

Q: Current, the TALON team is in Thailand. When are you returning (to Korea) to practice?
A: About returning to Korea, it's tomorrow. Practice start after that.

Q: What is your weekly schedule at Korea? Do you scrim everyday? or how much is your free time?
A: When we don't have matches, we practice 6 days, Monday to Saturday. Sunday is rest day. Usually sleep all day. No traveling.

[TH] T1 vs G2 - VCT Masters Bangkok - Grand Final

I think primmie will play duelist. Sure he said he prefer secondary roles but now he might be more comfortable playing duelist now that they comm in Thai and he might trust them more to trade him effectively. I don’t see killua returning to entry role as he performs really well in initiator. Crws should stay on initiator as he is the IGL. Jitboys might shift to sentinel to make way for thyy who will play controller. This is what I think:

crws - initiator/IGL
primmie - duelist
Jitboys - sentinel
killua - flex
thyy - controller

I’m optimistic about TLN though. With comms issues gone and better fraggers they could hopefully contend for top 3. susu kub nong kiw :D

Others wonder why Thai fans want to kick Ban and Governor.

Thai fans also wonder why aren’t they kicked already.

Jokes aside, as long as they make internationals and perform well repping TH, I wouldn’t call for their replacement. But if they hold back Lord Primmie’s efforts, then they should be replaced.
