The thing is: crushing t2 leagues doesn't mean much. I could talk about how dgzin plays absolutely insanely agains BR, but he kinda choked in VCT Americas.
Being a god in t2 val doesn't prove much. So, we still must see him again in international events. Then we'll know.
I don't doubt he's insane, or possibly the best itw. But, saying that he is, requires him to prove himself for a little longer.

KK is insane. But I tend to be skeptical towards every "new" player (I know he has been outperforming China entirely for years now, but I'm talking about international events). He def outplayed many of the best players we have. This alone is insane. But I do think that real GOATs prove themselves in larger spans of time.
We have to wait and see if he really is all that, or if he is just having a hell of a tournament.

What's the point? FNC keeps giving these frauds more chances to prove they're frauds.
Maybe the extra slots should be given based on total (or average?) score, considering all teams within that region.

You do have a fair point.
I guess we have the "feeling" that he's the best because he was the main responsible for turning tides for EG, when they seemed like a bad team.
All the bois were super important (specially Ethan imo), but it feels like Demon1 were there (during VCT) all the time, pulling the most important plays. Maybe it's just placebo, which happens mostly with duelists, but again, I think it's about how it felt throughout their cinderella run.

It's different from other losses (such as FNC 3-2) where you could see them talking and trying to figure out how to pull up a W.
On EDG game, looking at the bois, you could see no willpower, no fire inside like you could in EDG.
