Just based off of precedent, matchups lean strongly in favor of the loser before, unless there is a serious diff. I think EDG has a good chance of taking that W but we will see.

you have to understand that edg and other chinese orgs have large funding and financial backings. Im pretty sure they can match or go higher than what NA or EMEA(salary there is much lower) can offer. It's very unlikely that orgs esp in NA can poach him.
