At the moment I feel like the only teams PRX are better than are RRQ, DFM and GE.

TS has just been better this year. Dubstep Jett>>> F0rsaken Jett.

Great game!! Thank god they beat PRX.

Unpopular opinion here: I feel like NRG always struggle initially during a new meta. With Gekko being released, NRG might integrate him into some maps like Navi. It happened last year too, during the chamber meta when they lost to the likes of V1 and Rise. Also they have a habit of starting slow on the first map which SEN get use as an advantage ( Like against KOI, Giants and Loud). I still feel NRG will win 2-1.

Analyzing today's game it clearly felt that SEN were struggling initially with the roles but later went on to find a grip and win the game. 100T had much more FKs and much lesser FDs and that is why the game looked close. If a duelist has negative FK/FD it's ok but Dephh and Pancada died first more times than they should've. Pancada surely will become much better on the Sentinel role as they play more.
Tenz died a lot of times without trades on Split and Ascent on attack side and if they can prevent that then they have a much easier time ahead of them in the next 3 nightmarish fixtures.

one thing I noticed is that he needs help midrounding. Guess he didn't receive that much help on that regard.

Yay wasn't a T2 player but was playing for a T2 team at that time.

Here's my reasons for why FNS is the biggest gigachad in the world :

  1. 4 Top 3 finishes at world level.
  2. Transformed T2 players into an American super team. He was questioned for choosing Chet but proved that he was not wrong after winning Masters.
  3. Knew who the right players were for the team and made them the best in the world(Yay and Marved).
  4. Winner's mentality and dedicates entire time to practice instead of streaming,
  5. Best trashtalker in NA who has stayed relevant and not vanished (like Zombs).
  6. Doesn't give silly reasons for losing unlike other IGLs.
  7. Not afraid to speak the truth or give his honest opinion about players or the game.
  8. Called out the desk analysts for being cringe with their takes.
  9. Created a persona by winning and not by making Tiktoks.
  10. Very funny stream personality.
  11. Only IGL to beat Shahzam 4 times ( Boaster wishes he could).
  12. Best one liner in VCT : (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ecJsatv2WY)

Fnatic came 2nd and didn't win anything yet. Maybe it's their time?

Nah, TL is a downgraded version of M3C.
Also, if people think Sayf is an upgrade from ScreaM, then they certainly haven't watched pro Valorant.

What's your favorite/dream car and when will you be able to afford it?

Mine is a Bugatti Chiron and maybe I can afford one after 20 years.

Vanity's fragging has improved only recently and he was criticised for botfragging last year. Dephh really used to put good numbers until Purer got replaced by Cryo.

All Optic fans went to C9 since Yay went there. I am guessing a lot of people don't respect their core of FNS, Vic and Crashies who might join NRG because Ardiis may join them.

I am guessing Heretics beat SUMN FC, Boaster's old team in the finals. Acend actually beat Team heretics in Masters 1 2021 where Niesow didn't play the entire series.

Xeppaa main initiator most likely. On maps like Bind, Haven, Pearl he will play Fade. He can't play Sova or Breach that much but I think he might transition into those roles now.
Zellsis flexes on Sentinel agents like Killjoy, Cypher like he used to under Vanity in V1. He may also play other agents like Kay/0 and Viper.
Leaf will most likely be the choice to play Neon/Raze on certain maps and probably agents like Skye and Kay/0 on 0 duelist maps.

Kinda sad that Liquid let the player with the most clout and skill leave. Honestly he could have done so much with Nats and Redgar, who is a proper IGL.

They are rumoured to join KC.

the 2023 roster (assuming Chronicle gets in) looks absolutely untouchable. Every player other than Boaster is top 3 firepower in their role minimum and they have historically good support staff.

From the Americas region, I would say LOUD or Optic are close but they no longer exist and don't have any proven replacement. SEN seems to be the second best, or C9 if they pick up a few more players aside from Yay but I think Dephh is half the igl that FNS was and also that none of C9 match Fnatic outside Yay and Leaf.

In APAC, PRX and DRX are the only real competition currently.

In EMEA, I don't think there's a single team that is able to beat Fnatic.

If they are bringing Zellsis to play KJ and Cypher then the roles would make sense. Also who's going to play Sova on this team?
Vanity will play the main controller role for sure but on maps like Bind and Pearl who's going to play Viper? Zellsis?
Xeppaa may play the main initiator role as he plays a lot of Fade and I imagine he could be their main initiator player.

On the whole, all the players have to adopt new roles for the team excepting Yay and Vanity.

Dude they literally won 1 domestic tourney and that was before Copenhagen this year. Somehow they are always cursed to come 2nd.

So, now they're gonna have to bench some Philippines players right and start the Indos in the 5-man. Hoping that's what they do at the very least.

Ah the good old days when Tenz was talked about being a top 5 player in the world. Now he's not in contention for the top 10 in NA Atm. How the times change ah...

Yay, is he in Cloud9?
Where's announcement lil bro?
let me check C9 twitter..and no it's not there🤐

Sick being on smokes was a really a bad decision imo. You don't put your best rifler as site anchor and take gunfights when required. That's why Sentinels actually sucked on defense rounds during Stage 2. Any tier 2 smokes player or Dapr on smokes would've worked out instead of Kanpeki.
Also I knew you were being sarcastic as sick only played 2 games in challengers 2 main event and benched himself due to mental health issues.

posted about 2 years ago

Blame Shahz for putting Sick on smokes.

posted about 2 years ago

Dephh had better stats than Shahzam this year, letting you know.

Curry happened.

posted about 2 years ago

hey, they did beat Arsenal though.

posted about 2 years ago

They even lost really bad in Stage 1 but they dropped Zombs for Kanpeki. Don't you think they should've learnt from their mistakes and prepped well for Stage 2? If they had set this bootcamp and signed these analysts before Stage 2 Challengers then they could've done better. LCQ was a last ditch attempt to fix several mistakes and therefore the short term prep backfired.

He missed multiple chances to score.

posted about 2 years ago

True. Every Chamber/Oper player gets compared to Yay but they don't realize that he's on a different level from the rest.

posted about 2 years ago

True. If the leaks are true then Chet and FNS can make him as good as Marved.
However S0m as Jett/Raze worked really well in Stage 2.

posted about 2 years ago

He's been on smokes before and it didn't work out that well for NRG. That is why Hazed converted him to an Oper/Duelist role on NRG.

posted about 2 years ago

IDK why Boom continue to show faith in Berserx. If they had a better duelist they could've won against Zeta.

I ain't doing the thing you say. All I am trying to say is no need to play victim on VLR if you're on the right side.

posted about 2 years ago

Honestly, nobody in this forum is going to take any of your clarifications seriously because people have been imbibed with your past actions. You don't need to explain yourself here on VLR because some people make these threads just to irritate pros when they don't have a full understanding of the story at all.
Thank you for your contribution at Sentinels and we honest fans of Sentinels will support you on your future endeavours.

All of his so called assumptions are really outdated. He has Loud as a full roster when they're rumoured to be disbanding.

group 1 is overrated though I wouldn't call Dapr overrated.
