Ange1 for FPX is as good as Boaster is for Fnatic. Do you think Fnatic would be able to thrive without Boaster's leadership?

posted about 2 years ago

They were missing their most important player, their IGL Ange1 at that time and Ardiis due to covid. Suygetsu is a great player, but it is not as bad as not having their IGL. So I think with Ange1 they could make their substitute work.

Similarly, EMEA is a snooze fest. Sleeping is essential, but we are watching eSPORTS.

I think it's not a win-win situation for Shroud and the rest of the players though. Shroud has his reputation of being one of the most mechanically gifted FPS gamer in the world and if he under performs then it's not good for him.
Similarly, the players on Sentinels, their reputation is on the line too. They are not pulling as much stream numbers as they did before and there's no guarantee for a player like Kanpeki or Dapr that they remain in the org if they get into franchising.
Thirdly, Sentinels are spending some money on bootcamping facilities for their players. If this does not motivate them to do better then the org may consider other options as they get into franchising.

It's a maybe

No way Sentinels leave Sick out. Shahzam literally knows Sick for a long time and he would not let him go that easily. It is also probable that Shahz may retire at the end of the year which leaves Sick a spot on the team.

Kekw. It's NA Valorant baby !! And that's why it is very difficult to predict.
Did you expect to see SEN in the LCQ with Ghost's form going into playoffs?
Did we expect to see Faze and NRG in the top 4?

Regardless of how much you s**t on NA, it's the most unpredictable region and most interesting region to watch nonetheless.

I think NA LCQ will be the most interesting to watch.
Even APAC north LCQ will be grand coz imagine Chinese viewership on their platforms.

??
This is a list of Masters team only.
Why the unnecessary hate?

posted about 2 years ago

Here's my list of ranking each dynamic duos of every team in Masters 2.

  1. Yay and Victor ( Reigning Masters champions and them popping off in a match results in an Optic victory. Yay is the best Chamber in the world atm and Victor has the ability to play every single duelist character and Kay/0 if required from him.)

  2. Derke and Alfajer ( Derke is a LAN beast and everytime he has played on LAN he has always popped off. Alfajer maybe a newbie on LAN but that does not mean he won't perform. Being one of the most promising players, I think he would shrug those nerves off and perform like online.)

  3. Jinggg and F0rsaken ( F0rsaken is arguably one of the best Jett players and Yoru player, however his prowess on Chamber is a bit lower than these two agents. JInggg on the other hand is a great Raze, Reyna and also Sage. They are the most explosive duo in the tourney and them performing well is a win condition for PRX.)

  4. Aspas and Less ( Aspas and Less are young but they have shown that they are capable of performing on LAN too. Less is an underrated Chamber and no doubt he will be one of the top players in the tourney for sure. Aspas on the other hand can do it too.)

  5. Cryocells and Zekken ( They are playing on a Val LAN for the first time but both Cryo and Zekken have already proven themselves online and could do it on LAN too. )

  6. Sayf and Trexx/Leo ( Trexx was one of the best players for Guild in their run to Masters and Sayf too has shown great potential on Chamber. They are underrated as a team, but they can make it out of groups if they pop off.)

  7. Rb and Buzz ( DRX is a team that heavily relies on teamwork but Rb and Buzz have shown that they are a class above other duelists/Chamber players in their region.)

  8. Zyppan and Ardiis (The only reason they are this low is due to the fact that they can't play as a full team. FPX is a team that heavily depends on team play and them not playing with their regulars may affect their performance.)

  9. Surf and sScary ( sScary is a controller for his team but his stats and clutch win rates state otherwise. Him and Surf surely carry the hopes of Xerxia qualifying for Playoffs.)

  10. Tacolilla and Shyy( Tacolilla is a beast and one of the reasons Leviatan qualified for Masters. He is an underrated Chamber but can surely turn up on the big stage for Leviatan. Shyy plays initiators but has been one of the most consistent players for Leviatan in every series.)

  11. Meteor and Derialy ( Meteor was an awesome player in Korea and his move to Japanese Valorant has been successful due to his performances taking Northeption to an international event. Derialy on the other hand can become the next Sugarz3ro and propel Northeption to the playoffs.)

  12. Nagzet and Keznit ( Keznit is a great player and his greatest performance came in Champions 2021, but after that he hasn't been able to match his 2021 form. Nagzet is a great Jett and Chamber but I don't see them higher than any other duo in this list.)

What is your opinion?

posted about 2 years ago

That’s right. Boaster made it to a LAN final with 3 kids in Reykjavik last year. He can help Alfajer by relieving the pressure on him. Let’s not forget that Fearoth and Mistic are also experienced players.

The thread is about, "What about your country makes you ashamed?"
I think that the above is his view on what he feels ashamed about.
ATM, the problems that you have addressed regarding Hindu Nationalism and discrimination based on caste system are not big issues hindering our country's progress. Hygiene in general is low, but when you have a billion people crowded within such a small space, this is the best that you can ask for.

Kekw, every roster is bad if they lose in your view, right?

posted about 2 years ago

First 3 points = Valid
Last point = 50/50

posted about 2 years ago

Being a Liquid fan I thought you would put Jamppi over Nivera coz he's one of the most consistent opers on any agent.

posted about 2 years ago

Maybe people still believe first impression = best impression

posted about 2 years ago

FPX gets to send their full team and Trexx also shouldn't face any issues.

posted about 2 years ago

Then Fnatic is Alfajer, Derke and friends.

posted about 2 years ago

No worries. The only reason Optic lost is to ensure that Xset don't get grouped due to LAN pressure.

posted about 2 years ago

Nah Loud already in Qfs if Masters 1 format is used.

posted about 2 years ago

Nah that's more like Copium finals than Copenhagen finals.

posted about 2 years ago

I will mark your words and comeback to this post.

posted about 2 years ago

Xset won't experience a Lan Debuff of any sorts. The Guard is a group of young players only. Whereas in Xset you have Dephh who has played a lot of LANs in Cs. He definitely will help the guys adjust to LAN for sure. Just like how Boaster did for the Fnatic young guns.

posted about 2 years ago

Optic tactical loss so that Xset don't get grouped.

posted about 2 years ago

FPX 3-1 Fnatic, FPX shines in BO5s.

posted about 2 years ago

Faze was number 2 in your dream world maybe, never been 2nd best team in the world ever since the inception of Valorant.

posted about 2 years ago

Nah XSET wins this.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah since it's a BO5 final I'm expecting an FPX 3-1.

posted about 2 years ago

Not necessarily. Like you said, M3C would've been a better choice for Masters but let's not forget that Guild have beaten them twice. Give them their chance on LAN, I think Sayf and Leo will be demons on LAN.

posted about 2 years ago

Two Emea teams, 1 NA team and DRX make top 4.

posted about 2 years ago

prx already in qfs if seeding is according to Masters 1.

posted about 2 years ago

Some people are just meant to be on LAN. Look at Derke, he's the best LAN player I have ever seen in Valorant. Alfajer could do much better on LAN than online. All he has to hope is for a good map 1.

posted about 2 years ago

I'm wondering if the number of Sentinels haters surpass the fans.

posted about 2 years ago

I'm pretty sure they will hold much better than The Guard did.

posted about 2 years ago

Kekw, what a stupid take. Every team relies on their star players to perform to win. Even Fnatic lost a map to FPX due to Derke and Alfajer not having a great game.

posted about 2 years ago

At least Liquid has LCQ.

posted about 2 years ago

I mean Raze ults are too hard to hit nowadays. The hitbox seriously has been nerfed to hell. Even the best Raze players have missed a lot of raze ults in recent games.

posted about 2 years ago

they weren't bootcamping, they were partying.

posted about 2 years ago

Only ghost need to lose

posted about 2 years ago

Remember how people were stating NRG would go 5-0 before groups started? How the tides change.
Still have the copium though.

posted about 2 years ago

It doesn't need to be a Sova main, a flex player is necessary. Ge's bind comp is so obsolete that it was used during first strike days. Kappa needs to play Skye, Sova and Fade or find someone who is capable of playing all initiators.

posted about 2 years ago

GE is the only team that has a one-trick Sova who plays well against T4 Indian teams, has iron aim and doesn't even know how to jump spot.

posted about 2 years ago

And with that, I have spent every single penny of mine betting on Sentinels' games. My parents have disowned me, my girlfriend dumped me for a 100T fan, I have failed in my exams as I sit writing this in my home on the pavement. If Sentinels lose tomorrow then I won't have any money to feed myself or go to the casinos. So Sentinels, please win tomorrow so that I can buy some more copium tanks to fuel Sentinels' chances of making LCQ.

posted about 2 years ago

Nope, I don't think that's true. If you take for example Team Liquid, they have always been top 4 in EMEA at any point of time since last years first LAN. In EMEA it is easy to predict who's gonna make it out of groups. There are upsets but they rarely happen( BIG vs M3C can be qualified as an upset). In EMEA there are only a handful of teams that you can predict to qualify. If you say that OGLU, Fokus, BIG, BBL and NAVI were gonna qualify for Masters at the start of groups then you are certainly out of your mind. EMEA doesn't have a stationary strongest team but the top 6 always shuffle upon themselves.

posted about 2 years ago

ATM, yes but if they make the changes they have a chance. It's NA Valorant after all, everything's unpredictable and any team can win on their day.

posted about 2 years ago

True but did anyone expect RISE to make it to the finals? I don't think I did.

posted about 2 years ago

After Masters Berlin last year people thought 100T would qualify through LCQ. No one expected C9 and Rise to play for a spot in Champs. It's NA Val, so anything can happen.

posted about 2 years ago

They make LCQ unless NRG beats TGRD and places better than 7th-8th.

posted about 2 years ago

Who all do you think makes it to LCQ? I think atm Optic are already qualified for Champs so there is no way they make it to LCQ. TGRD are second on points atm but I think if another team go to Copenhagen they would certainly place better than the TGRD who placed 8th. So atm, these 8 teams in my opinion are going to LCQ.
1.C9
2.LG
3.XSET (Have a good chance to make it to Copenhagen if they get their pants up in the crucial games)
4.TGRD( I don't think they can make it to Copenhagen in current form, but hey it's NA valorant after all, you never know)
5.Ghost/100T/EG( depends on who make it to Copenhagen)
6.Ghost/100T/EG
7.Faze
8.Sentinels

Correct me if any of the above teams won't make it to LCQ. Also, I am betting on TGRD to get the win against NRG on the last game week.
