Sorry. I got duped by an asshole Korean streamer. There was discussion about it, but it's not going to happen.
t3xture said his team had recently won 32 straight scrims recently, It's going to be a bloodbath.
The “infrastructure and talent pipeline” is a bit of a myth. If your game is more skillful and technical, maybe this can play a big role.
But 80-90% of this game is about hovering over images on the screen and clicking faster. And there is a certain percentage of babies born everywhere in the world with innately good eye-hand coordination.
Whether your region is complete with factories that turn those babies into actual killing machines or just a bunch of empty lots, there are enough to fill five members of a tier one team.
And it doesn't take that much money to raise a video game addicted kid. CIS/SEA has bad infrastructure and is the most financially vulnerable of all regions, but the levels in those regions are quite solid.
It's a great revenue model to pay a team to experience the life of a professional player!
VLR is basically where extreme nationalists cope. But how much of an undeniable truth is this kind of reaction?
holy cabeza
Exactly yes, we also rigged it to make it impossible for any indian to play in Tier 1.
Rushindra has nothing to do with indian players being the worst in the world. He still cared about shitty indians like botssi to some extent, but he's now relieved of that useless duty.
Do Zeta academy players pay their club to play?
BFX has no strat....
That's what makes it truly different from before. Zero Indian is a reason for hope to exist. ge org actually has a passion for winning.
idk who but it will definitely happen. Confirmed.
I wasn't overly impressed, but I think I've seen a little bit of what the vlr japanese are coping about absol. He's the only japanese with buzz/jawgemo style. there hasn't been one until now.
In real, clubs expand and win, and the more you chase glory, the bigger the deficit gets. If you want to play big, you have to pay more. much more. That's why that EWC shit list has the big names first.
EDG doesn't have to wait long because all the resources of the entire league are theirs.
Look at his flair. T1 has been living rent free in his head for a while now, and man tries to ignore the pain&fear for mental defense.
Dude, Riot is a bunch of psychopaths who divide a single round robin into two splits. What do you expect?
Why do you guys take regional distribution for granted when discussing this? Riot is not going to do that. I don't think they'll actually cut it down to six teams, but if they do, GE will definitely fall off and the entire SEA will be hanging on to one or two teams.

Frankly it's nepotism but koreans usually use their friendships in a helpful way, and don't let their teams fail. We'll see.
Ascension is screwed with this FraudX
well certainly TES has taken half of the international upsets single handedly. That's the kind of team they are.
I apologize. This is the real them I saw today.
NT KUB MY BABY J0NG There's nothing wrong with not being able to put a plastic bag in the microwave and press the button~
I thought it was really good when Yike beat G2, but he's just an asshole now
I thought last year was the worst and this year was better.... but it isnt
I'm surprised he's still in Zeta
Late 22 to 23 is best.
btw we don't know what the meta of 2025 will be yet. T1 considered an off-meta team, won this year's first tournament with double duelist. They didn't use Tejo outside of Fracture. according to Stax not because they couldn't handle it, but because autumn considered it was obviously not good.
In my eyes, the only tier 1 ready player in the whole of Japan is Caedye. Kick xdll, Syouta duel and Caedye Sentinel would be bit good.
If you want to keep the same result, then yes.
GE org isn't ideal, but they're trying, and they're getting better. A good example is the number of Indian players finally reaching zero. Give them credit for trying.
*0 Player country (since there is technically a team)
Before the franchise, it was only held in Europe. After the franchise, there are rules.
Champs is held in the league's hub country, and follows the exact one-year cycle of lol worlds venues (22 worlds in US -> 23 champs LA, 23 worlds in korea -> 24 champs seoul, 24 worlds in eu -> 24 champs paris)
25 worlds is in China and 26 is in NA, so it's pretty predictable.
Masters is held in the subregion of each regional league that doesn't host Champs.
M1 is held in an emerging market (Spain is wealthy and one of the centers of European lol esports, but the demand for Valo was very low).
M2 is held in a large country with high demand (Japan)
I don't know exactly how Riot categorizes the subregions, I've categorized them as follows.
Americas: North America, LATAM
Europe: Western Europe, Central and Northern Europe, Turkey
Pacific: Korea, Japan, SEA
China: China
To summarize the competitions held to date
23: Brazil (Americas-LATAM), Japan (Pacific-Japan), USA (Americas-NA)
24 : Spain (Europe-West Europe), Shanghai (China), Korea (Pacific-Korea)
25: Thailand (Pacific-SEA), Canada (Americas-NA), France (Europe-West Europe)
In 26, Champs will be held in China. The regions with longer cycles are Northern Europe, Turkey, and LATAM, so we can predict that the Masters will be held in two of these regions.
On another note, which makes much more sense than my guess, lol esports has already confirmed their long term hosting plans.
2025 FST - South Korea, MSI - Canada, Worlds - China
2026 FST - Brazil, MSI - Korea, Worlds - NA
2027 FST - SEA, MSI - Europe, Worlds - Korea
This is the first year the League has three international events, and Riot is very much in favor of recycling venues, so the plan could be the same every year starting in 26.
The question here is in the case of Korea. SK is the single largest major region in the League. In Valo, it's the hub region of APAC, but it's just subregion anyway. When it's Pacific's turn to host(2028 Champs is a lock), I don't know where they'll host instead of Korea.
Any random guy is better than Deryeon, so whatever he does is better than nothing.
Riot's tribute to greatest grand finals and masters winner: they gave T1 an extra week to prepare for the season.
EDG uses the entire league as a farm, so if they let go of desire for friendships shitbags like j0ngrx, they'll always be in the best shape possible.
Hearing the moans of agonized jerking off from the losers is the sweetest perk of being a winner.
