Surely the minds of DRX can think of something against W gaming...

ngl its insane how most of the teams that got clowned on actually did better. Really hope NRG wins this so we can get a banger grand finals.

Yeah.....Loud is winning this

I am amazed on how good Loud is in turning upcoming players into superstars. Clearly they are pushing the meta with the viper harbor comps. Yet to see another tier 1 replicate the understanding and success that Loud is having.

Idea: Mods link sideshow's stream under "streams" on this vlr page. In fact do it for every Karmine Corp game for this season only if he is watch partying

All good. Hopefully Navi bounces back and we can see a nice bo3 for the opening match

nice

yeah people who say that never seen koala before chamber

Potential L for NA fans but massive W for the val scene. Gotta love these underated teams go the full distance and show why they are franchised.

gotta love the grinders getting the support they need to become the tier 1 stars they can be

Challenger Teams looking hella exciting ngl

But yes it was strange that meL took the smokes role. I really did like her sentinel play

posted about a year ago

fair but the problem is that Bob is a initator player. Noia was a solid sentinel player before the chamber meta and was a solid chamber player during it. Perhaps Bob can be flexible enough to fill the sentinel role but the expenditure on this roster must be very high at this point so priortizing someone who can igl and getting that upcoming duelist was def high on the priority list.

Fearless Covenant is such a intense name lol

is it just me or are the turkish teams just cycling players?

damn calypso carried NA

Nah it was a warm up map for DRX BuZz (syfi)

Roster should def make it deep into ascension. They have good players but winning ascension is going to be tough. I do like the Hazed pickup tho cause he is a great igl.

LFT clan is eternal. G2 simply loaned Oxy from LFT clan

Parla is impressing me more and more

Damn the full squad couldnt show up. FInals week man :(

Much needed change to add some diversity. I'm not a fan of completely nerfing chamber till hes out of the meta but allowing other sentinels a chance is very good for the game

I don think its going to be the end for him. He did play flex pretty well before he took the chamber.

Banger match. Its going to be weird knowing one of these teams will go to lowers so early :(

posted about 2 years ago

hopefully he will prove himself cause EMEA has a lot of upcoming talent

This roster change will fix their igl issue fs. I am very interested in the role distribution for this team.

Complexity might win this but I’m rooting for my IMT queens

Despite it being a repeat of Iceland, these two are def the best looking teams so very excited to watch

yes I agree that he must be held to those standards since he is a pro. I feel tho there is an obvious trend where the igl bottom frags. I think he gets kills but i agree that he often leaves the team in a 4v5 scenario. Maybe im delusional in approaching this game through old lens where i should be saying that the better team will be the one with their support line stepping up. If so, my bad but I thought Ange1 did some great work leading the team.

posted about 2 years ago

While I agree ange1 underperformed this game, sayinng he should be removed is disrespectful to the whole team. They (and the org) chose to keep him because he provides so much value than just kills. He is a great igl that is forward thinking and always innovating the game. I thought FPX had a great year and there is always room for improvement. Besides if there are people who have the right to take banter personally its really the pros

FPX 2-1. They made a lower bracket run before

This is the meme of the tournament lmaooo

Huge W for the scene. Right now this looks better than the Overwatch league and League of Legends. Based on viewership this year, it is Riot's best interest to not screw this up lol

Aside from XSET making great results at champs, I think people underate Dephh as an igl. Just from prior interviews he comes off as a guy who is really passionate and constantly thinks about the game in new ways. He is also a good fragger and doesnt give me the cringe streamer NA pro vibe.

2-1 DRX. They are in great form but it all comes down to if they can still ride on the momentum and hype.

posted about 2 years ago

unforunate end for TL but they had some great wins against Edward and PRX so they earned the top 8 finish. They are still one of the top teams of EMEA so they def should be proud of this year.

I’m not a huge fan of FPX but I love it when a support player like suygetsu pops off in high stake games like this

EMEA with their VRL will def cultivate better talent than NA. While the NA scene have their NSG lans and small tourneys the quality of teams there are mostly pug teams with a degree of tier 2 signed teams. Despite Riot announcing how tier 2 is going to work in all the regions i still like the organization and system presented by VRL.

posted about 2 years ago

i wouldnt be suprised that TL makes a sizable lower bracket run

posted about 2 years ago

Insane firepower on both sides hopefully this goes to 3 maps!

posted about 2 years ago

Both teams have cracked players but I feel like EDG are more in form and are all mechanically cracked at the game. The only players that seem to step for TL has been Jamppi and scream so I really hope the rest of the team really shows up cause we have seen how good they are when they hit their shots. 2-1 EDG cause I know they are really confident and hungry to prove themselves on the world stage.

shame Zellsis cant stay in SEN but I can see V1 attending 3rd party tournaments rather than SEN so zellsis will def look fresh and ready for franchised teams
