It's both

I hope so, I think CS has a record of 1.9mil live viewers during boston major grand final. If we hit 2mil you bet this is going to be something amazing.

Incredible, and this isn't even Champions yet. Let alone Berlin which will have a crowd. Super hyped and enjoying Valorant esports.

FPX has been falling off, they lost to Gambit who was then beat by Fnatic. Not only this but Fnatic during this tournament is one of two European teams to get international and LAN experience in Valorant, already helping put them ahead. Ascend is great but again, they didn't qualify for a reason. Yes, they beat Fnatic (when Fnatic was very new with limited practice on their new roster), however Ascend has been incredibly inconsistent on an individual level.

I do believe Ascend CAN be the best team in EU and even the world but currently they need more practice and matches to prove so.

Currently Fnatic is the best team in Europe.

Who's better right now? There's an EU shuffle coming up and most teams wont remain the same.

posted about 3 years ago

This is EU's best right now.

I'll give you cned could be as well, I mean there really hasn't been enough matches over a long period of time to really tell who's better yet. Give it until the end of the year and I'm sure we'll have a better idea.

Split is Fnatics perma ban map. He will start to perform better as the series goes on. I don't think he's the best jett, but he's top 3 and he's currently the best entry player in the world.

If instalocks bother you, increase your agent pool. In immortal you typically get 1-3 instalocks every game, you just need to learn to play other roles like support. It'll help you climb if you're good at it too.

Kinda a bad argument since it's coming from a pro. He can make any fps game look easy given time tbh.

It's not about dodging the shock darts, since in the postplant meta you only utilize your mollies/shocks late enough to where they can no longer defuse the spike. If you then try and dodge the shock darts, you run out of time to defuse. I get its situational and map dependent but you have to admit that just making the viper molly work like the orb won't really help much for balancing the postplant meta.

posted about 3 years ago

In combination with viper orb it has the same effect.

CIS needs more representation to begin with. Secondly, CIS CSGO is huge right now and it's going to be hard to pull them away from that.

posted about 3 years ago

I somewhat agree with this but people can also just use shock darts, brim mollies, etc. in combination so it's not much of a difference.

posted about 3 years ago

I would rather see a new sentinel that has an ability like the Jaegar ADS from Siege to be honest. Something that can block mollies. It would provide actual counterplay.

Honestly it depends on the information he had in that moment, but I'd say considering in a 1v2 the enemy team is likely to just double swing him after they can regroup, it's his best shot and therefore it was a good play.

I don't believe V1 or Nuturn can beat Fnatic.

posted about 3 years ago

Just glad V1 is losing.

posted about 3 years ago

I'm only half serious, it makes sense. Especially because of the large population of all of EMEA. Plus I believe they'll catch up and start beating NA given time.

posted about 3 years ago

Stop self projecting

posted about 3 years ago

Exactly

posted about 3 years ago

That's a lot of EMEA teams in a tournament just to lose to NA.

posted about 3 years ago

I see what you mean but I feel that's asking too much of teams especially for a qualifier event.

posted about 3 years ago

Australia can't really just play on NA servers with high ping for qualifiers.

Also CIS should have their own slot.

So what you're saying is that TenZ is just giving himself the best positioning and opportunities to get kills. In other words, stay mad.

posted about 3 years ago

Yeah I love to see all the regions come together. Not that I think all tournaments should be like this, but to an extent it would be better to see 8 teams from all over the world than to watch the top 8 teams that might be from one or two from time to time. Brings a lot more passion from each region.

posted about 3 years ago

I also do believe Liquid could also beat V1 and probably should have today, but that doesn't change my point. Crazy Raccoons are an incredible team and they're really showing that here at iceland.

posted about 3 years ago

There are 40 people with perfect brackets still. You can see if you look at your pick'ems on the side.

posted about 3 years ago

CR barely lost to V1 on two maps, who then went on to beat Liquid. Although that's not definitive proof, you can clearly see that Japan CAN compare to EU at least based on the matches so far. It'll be exciting to see how they play against some of these other teams in the lower bracket.

They're looking to have a live audience for masters 3, and even if that doesn't work out, I'm sure Champions will. Just with that alone the tournaments are not only going to be more hype, but they're going to have more viewers.

posted about 3 years ago

Hoping they keep wippie, he helped bring them to this Iceland LAN, but jammyz is amazing.

posted about 3 years ago

This is starting to sound less crazy...

posted about 3 years ago

Probably not anything grand for masters, expect something like that for Champions at the end of the year.

posted about 3 years ago

Stay mad.

I agree with the take but Gambit is an incredible team in both scrims and officials. It is true that teams run new strats in scrims and will even hide certain ones from specific teams. However, Gambit is amazing, and I wish there was a CIS spot for them to qualify through.

Guess we'll see at masters

posted about 3 years ago

I 100% agree with this, and also those are my favorite teams too!

posted about 3 years ago

Vision Strikers are more consistent, though I don't believe they're necessarily the better team.

posted about 3 years ago

100% agree, and honestly I'm more confused on why Faze is so high themselves.

posted about 3 years ago

Both Faze and 100T are overrated right now. Don't get me wrong, I do agree that they are both good teams and that 100T should be ranked higher than Faze, however I don't believe 100T can be called top 2 NA right now. Especially with the new C9 roster proving themselves, Envy beating them, and XSET having great performances recently.
