Sentinel
A word that has no ture definiton because of the fact that it means so many different things. When you use this word in a conversation the only way for it to make sense is for the other person to at least be somewhat knowlegeable in the topic you are talking about. It usually is something that you will find in a video game. In one case Sentinel is actually the name of a video game for ps1. If you use this word when talking to someone about video games that isn't very knowlegeable but pretends they know what they are talking about, they will not even think for a split-second that what your are saying isn't true. Even people who know video games might get fooled if you just slip this wor din to your conversation because of normal it will sound. Typing this word in on google will bring up 7,500,000 links. This pretty much speaks for itself.
In 007 the sentinel is a missle launcher, In GTA the sentinel is a car,
In Halo the sentinels are flying machines that attack with laser-like weapons,
In Half-life the sentile is a machine gun,
Im sure in at least a few games out there besides Halo where there is an enemy(s) known as the Sentinel. If I wasn't so lazy I could probably find more examples via google (holy shit 7,500,000 links!) As you can see there is no true definiton for sentinel.

Valyn is decent. Psalm seems lackluster to me. But neT is def a really good pickup.

Boring af take. Go for an underdog story like Sentinels. They seem like an up and coming team. Sure they had a few mistakes. But I'm hopeful of their future.

Honestly most agents are pretty balanced in 1v1s. It's mostly boiled down to 3 things. Area denial/Vision denial. Intel(prob the most important). and peeking options/movement options(2nd most important). And you need to have a slightly unequal balance of all 3.
Sova, Omen, or Raze. Maybe Skye.
Sova is good in 1v1s because he can gain intel which practically wins you the 1v1 90% of the time if you get like a tag or a ping off and shock darts a viable post plant ability.
Omen has a tool for every situation. Which makes him highly adaptable in 1v1s. His smoke cooldown isn't as much of a problem in a 1v1 because you don't need to smoke for 5 players, you only need to smoke for yourself.
Raze. Honestly I think Raze is better than Jett in a 1v1 because you can get intel and just pretty strong post plant. I think in a 1v1 viper is too far off site which makes it sometimes easy for the enemy player to just hold you when you have to rush back eventually. Boombot is pretty much a mini kj turret that moves around because it can force the crosshair off the angle. Satchels are heavily underrated. Legit damage and everything. I honestly think it's better than a Jett dash in a 1v1 because even though the Jett dash allows you to play a bit more aggressively. The raze satchel straight up stalls pretty darn well and it's a good mixup when peeking. The nade is selfexplanatory. I think that this overall just has a well rounded kit for a 1v1 which doesn't require much smokes and shit. But it's just so much stuff to work with. Maybe a bit more situational, but still surprising how many options you have compared to a Jett.

BDS has always been solid. They just kinda always fall short. But the firepower is pretty ridiculous. If they get someone like Kadavraa though as well. This team would be pretty much tier 1.
