The main issue is that yes there are Mongolian teams competing in HK / TW and SEA, but those regions ALSO have "3 / 5 players" rules in place.

Why can the exception be made in those challengers leagues but not Japan?

So all the comments about how we are "not reading the rules" really aren't understanding the full context of the situation. The rules in place don't give us a fair chance at competition. Are we supposed to inherently wait for HK / TW to make another exception? What about SEA? There is no official number of "Exception" slots.

Not to mention the fact that the official response from Riot didn't even MENTION Turkey is crazy too. We only found out about it from searching through all of the rulebooks themselves. (Those rulebooks aren't easily publicly available either)

The reason Riot's official response doesn't even cover this is because they know it doesn't make sense. Theres physically no way for us to compete there.

Has nothing to do with not reading the rules.

There is no region for Mongolia. What server should a Mongolian team compete in? TW / HK has the same rule for 3 / 5 players having residency. But there is no server for Mongolia.

When you make a Valorant account in Mongolia, the premier league it places you in automatically is JP

We have already and it seems like they are doubling down on the rule that "3 / 5 starting roster to be holding a Japanese residency status"

HK/TW has the same "3 / 5 players" restriction

HK/TW also has the same rule - The team was told initially that these rules don't apply for premier promotion / relegation slots.

Riot also never reached out after The MongolZ team won Premier Ep 8 act 3 - so the only option was to compete again until getting noticed.

Right now, we're the only team to have won premier 2 acts in a row.

Officially our Challengers league region is Türkiye. But how are mongolian players expected to compete at over 130ms ping, on a server that they don't even have access to.
