So mooveing to Mena would solve the problem you are pointing ?

posted 3 months ago

Do you know if people from Bangladesh have the same issues ?

posted 3 months ago

Wait, Riot already moved Pakistan to MENA ?!

posted 3 months ago

So basically :
Ping : Mena
Language : India
Visa : Mena

If we combine all the factor, what do you pref ?

posted 3 months ago

They are, but if Pakistanis people cant play against Indian player (157.68ms) since every event are online they should play with MENA player (35.50ms) plus India and Pakistan isnt in a good term. I admit language is an important factor and is usually my fav one, but when 2 country are about to throw at each other throat and cant play for ping reason... Well it's complicated.

If Pakistan and India got only a strong rivalry and 50ms I would say it's ok, but thats not the case so better put them with MENA to me

GEN-SEN is the oppenning game featuring the 2 master winner : You have to give :

  • 1 popular opinion
  • 1 unpopular opinion
  • 1 opinion nobody though about
posted 3 months ago

Seems you have a better ping on Dubai then on Singapore and then on Mumbai, if that's true, shouldn't you be part of MENA instead of SA ?

PS : if you can confirm my premises are good i would be glad

Isnt 80% of people ?

What are thai PRX/MiTH girl fan ? and why are their a danger ?

posted 3 months ago

TH format is the most fair of APAC, not making TH system make split 1 absolutely useless (for a mid or top team of the T2 region)

Thats the other region that should adapt and make their system (Or give every region 2 slot)

posted 3 months ago

You are right, I wont if the fact that only 1 team is qual in APAC helps

posted 3 months ago

Would be sad if ascention have no hype, even less than JP

Pretty easy : The final of EMEA have no stakes, Japan final have stakes. I'm french and I did watch Japan T2 final but not EMEA T1 final.

The hype in EMEA playoff died right after the elmination match, we know the top 4 hype is down (Thats also one of the reason why I hate the fact top 3 in stage 2 is qualified, it kill the hype too early, we need to qual only top 2 in stage 2, so every match beside the final have stakes, then because we were hyped during the playoff we also watch the last game)

Val on phone is a start since phone market is a big thing

posted 3 months ago

Historically in S1/S2 SEA ID was never strong but they always come with 2 or 3 team in the top 8, so they may also be a good contender (most populated T2 region afterall)

posted 3 months ago

D: Things happen !
Do you think in 15 years India might have their own T1 league ?

posted 3 months ago

The creation of the 5th continental Valorant league that will have enough level and enough viewer to make it viable (but we could add more criteria, like enough good structure etc...)

posted 3 months ago

Valo Pacific Ascention S4 Anime sounds wild, that make me want to cast it in Fraech, is that allowed to cast it ?

Korea fill their population gap, by PC culture, league being the "national sport" really helps and will probably keep korea alive for a long time.
When it relates to one precise sport a country can found themself in 3 situations (They have some in between ofc but thats for making understand) :

  • 1/ National sport (Korea)
  • 2/ Sport already conquer that market (NA-EU-SEA-JP-BR)
  • 3/ Sport didn't developed yet (MENA-Subsaharia-India)

With enough marketing effort and when the country is enough developed, you can always make a country in 3/ into 2/, and what will differentiate a country in 2/ is their population. A country in 1/ will always be able to fight against any other country in 2/ even if 2/ have x100 their population.
In Val KR is in 1.5/ (Because of PC culture, but thats not at the level of a LoL that is truly a national sport) while Japan is around 2.

What is fun, is that every T1 region without the undeveloped part got roughly 1G population (1 000 000 000 population)

posted 3 months ago

If I would be more precise, I would say they are in between, they are not fully developed everywhere, some places are developed, some places are not, I'm curious the know how mush Indian have access to a PC for example, or water that home directly to their house and other intresting dats, if you have it I gladelt take it.

posted 3 months ago

Japan have no potential, they have not enough people to have a viable T1, having 2 or 3 team in T1 is enough for Japan.

India is still an undeveloped country with access to PC, population of India is higher than population of full APAC, in long term when the country will become the top 3 power in the world (That will probably happen during the 2030's/2040's years), the country may become a T1, in, the same fashion than LoL in China raised until they come a T1 region starting from nothing, that can't happen for Japan.

But today it's too early, and they can be glad they have a T2 region, Subsaharia doesn't have a T2 region (yet, I believe next year they will have their T2 region, so we can have 8 regions in EMEA and drop the playin with a horrible format)

posted 3 months ago

I'm finally glad Riot made a CIS T2 league... Wait this is playin !

posted 3 months ago

I seems lot of people got some sentiment listening ticking away, I can understand why, (I'm unranked level 300 so probably not the target), but purely on a music level I really disliked it x)

Thanks a lot !

posted 3 months ago

I really hope 2025 will break the pattern T.T

I admit I disliked 2023, but I understand people liked it

posted 3 months ago

No I mean become the 5th T1 region

posted 3 months ago

I kinda belveive if they play their card correctly they might have the potential to become a T1 region in 10 or 20 years since MENA is as populated as EU-CIS, AMER and APAC

posted 3 months ago

You know they all want that right ? XD

posted 3 months ago

Definitely, but because of soloQ people will not look for teamates

posted 3 months ago

You are right, LoL and Valo are made to be play at 5 with premades

SoloQ shouldn't exist, individual MMR shouldn't exist, and only team rank should exist

posted 4 months ago

To make split 1 relevant, since APAC got only one slot, if they qualify noily the winner of split 2 that mean split 1 is useless, so they made a point system and qual the top 4 in point to a tournament (Thats kinda the same system them NA 2023 IIRC Split 1 --> Split 2 --> AscentionQual)

posted 4 months ago

Wait this isn't about outdoor tournament, it's just a bad organized tournament

posted 4 months ago

Hmmm I'll wipe out the "No stadium rule" and allow it ! I was thinking about things that weren't supposed to be a stadium or a tournament

Wait the problem seems tied to be shit TO organizer more than outdoor organization

posted 4 months ago

Exactly i'm here because of LoL
Tell me what did happen !

posted 4 months ago

You are kinda right about power tournament, could be an issue if some natural places are picked

Any pref places you want to see ?

What did happen in 2015 ?

posted 4 months ago

It's still a stadium, staidium is perfect for a classical master event,

posted 4 months ago

Stadium seems too classical, not enough unique

posted 4 months ago

What is it ?

posted 4 months ago

It's ok to me, first place I thought about was natural place or UNESCO place. Stonehenge would be neat, macchu picchu, great wall of China, Versailles and Seine are ok to me

posted 4 months ago

Same, i'm kinda astounished, outdoor was a neat idea to be fair !

posted 4 months ago

Looking at the opening ceremony in France, I start to be convinced the first master of the year should be an outdoor event in place with an amazing architecture (or maybe even natural place)
