I kinda want bcj though, dapr can play viper on Breeze and Icebox, dephh played astra before(on pearl) and should be able to also play smokes on other maps. Bcj as a dedicated initiator is far too strong to give up. Plus syyko worked with bcj before so it should be easier to integrate him into the team. (I want marved to be in nrg)

Marved works if tenz successfully gets past the drama that is 1 year old already.

100T's roster is good enough(top 3 in America already), and their only weakness is no awper, which is fixed by cryo. I believe 100T won't make more changes(2021 rostermainia is the best lesson)

Yay-Leaf-Trent-Vanity(igl)-Xeppaa-mCe

Leaf, Xeppaa, and Vanity is already some of the greatest talent in NA, and Yay basically replaces mitch as better chamber/Trent replaces xeta/curry as better initiator. However, once chamber dies I'd expect a huge role swap like Leaf towards the initiator side while Xeppaa goes towards the sentinel side

Sentinels:
Tenz-Zekken-Bcj-Valyn-Dapr-sykkoNT

Tenz is self-explanatory:dragging sen across in the entire 2022 season, and performs ok on 1 month of chamber, Dapr maintained his form throughout the entire series, Valyn is already in talks with sen(rumor) and is a proven igl, and Zekken/Bcj had previous team chem+insane initator/duelist.

EG:
Dicey-Victor-Crashies-Marved-FNS(igl)-Chet(potter as assistant)

Eg is the most likely team to go for a full rebuild, and besides yay, the entire optic should be quite affordable. Optic is optic(unfortunatly Victor comes as a bundle with Crashies), the 2nd best team in the world(1st in terms of consistency). Dicey proved himself as a contender as NA's 2nd best chamber(Tenz, Bdog, Sayaplayer, and cryo as other contenders, Yay is obv. first). Plus, Dicey filles in yay's space perfectly(slightly less firepower but whatever)

NRG:
Bdog-babybay-Ethan-Zander(igl)-Nats-jdm(Faze coach)

Bdog is an insane awper, period. Babybay has proven to be very flexible, Ethan is still one of the top performers of NRG, Zander is a great igl that also brings great firepower, and Nats(assuming that he does come to NA) is one of the best players any team can ask for. The coach is the only questionable part since i can't find any better ones and faze being the 5th in na should have a reasonably good coach

Honerable mentions:
Sayaplayer: good awper, way too inflexible(forcing his team to play around a jett on fracture)
Zellsis: good player, its just that Asuna, Zekken, Leaf outshines him, Victor is a bundle with Crashies(otherwise he'd be replacing Victor), and babybay is more duelist oriented than Zellsis, which fits NRG more.
Moose: Very good smokes, outshined by Vanity, Zander, Marved, Bang, while Valyn is needed as an igl for sentinels
Sick: Inactive for too long, too big of a risk to take
jawgemo, apoth, C0M: Decent players that can be good replacements. Unfortunately a 5-6th placement and 7-8th placement in NA tournaments destined them to be replaced.

And no, do not bait with Sinatra and Zombs, one's bad PR and one's straight-up washed.

Also kinda funny how America has the world's 2 best/most consistent teams(Optic and Loud). Loud only lost to Kru(Brazil slayer) and Optic, and Optic placed top 3 every tournament.

esp pearl, since every time we're on an eco, I just ask my teammates to smoke b mid and rush connector. Works all the time(other than when we can't hit shots or go braindead). Also rush mid on eco works very well in ranked.

Prob not. TL needs an igl and Nats Coming in basically means that either nivera has to go(very good sentinel/initiator that has much better Chem with the team than Nats ever will) or he will have to flex to a role that he is very unfamiliar with.

My take:
KJ: turred doesnt need a larger range. It is meant to be a powerful sentry and it needs drawbacks. However, removing the range from the alarm bot makes it a lot stronger and more used.

Cypher: Cypher's cage should give a paranoia effect(being stared by the internet lul) and I think cypher needs 3 trips and being able to customise where the ends of the trips are(currently there are a lot of spots cypher cannot place his trips on and that makes him very predictable.

Chamber: chamber's tp is the only thing keeping him in the meta. the trip is easily countered, the sheriff is so expensive that its useless, and the ult is very selfish and can't get consistent value unlike ults like kay/o's. I think swapping the trip and the tp ability makes a lot more sense: chamber can only tp once in an entire round, and you can place one more trip every 45 secs.

Break one more curse(after the breaking of the DRX 0 lb wins and optic no EU team wins)

Honestly as a dedicated liquid fan, a roster change feels wrong. All of the players has the ability to become a star fragger on other teams(even the weaker ones like dimasick can be like marved and soulcas like Trent). However, not having an igl really hinders them and honestly, it comes down to the avaliable igl's roles and with the avaliable igls mostly being smokers/sova(koldamenta, maybe bonecold, redgar) dima just seems like the only choice.

DRX starts strong in group stage, then burn out in playoffs.

Just couldn't accept that LEV, a team that already had a great showing in masters 2, improved further. There are no regions that can be considered "minor" in valorant now.

I have to give riot credit for writing a great script for this year's champions. I was already impressed with the LEV 2-0 twist, but then Optic breaks their group stage curse? Additionally, DRX with that 4-12 comeback against FURIA and EMEA losing to NA and SA? I gotta say, riot's script writers have gotten much better for this event. Hopefully the script stays well-written and riot strays away from the same region matchups in playoffs, they rely on that trope way too much.

Trent in stage 1 challengers rolls Trent in masters Iceland, that's why he's up there. He carried his team on Ascent recently too against sentinels so he's definitely up there.

I like pearl's mid and a site, I think they have a great and unique design. It's b long I have a problem with. From the pearl games I've played so far on attack going b only is a viable strat and I constantly win rounds because of it. Someone needs to rework b long or else it would be like how unplayable Icebox was on release.
