The one thing I'm worried about is, supposing Sato does good and we keep him for 2026, what tf do we do with ghoul and neon?? They are also too good to leave them in the academy next year. Do we just go for a team with 2 duelists like EG 2023? Even then we'd have to give up on 1 of the 3 players. All Sato, Neon and Ghoul are really good and would hurt to lose 1 of them.

Next year we will literally have three 18 year old duelists if we keep sato

It's the lowst that make the highs more enjoyable. There's no fun on changing teams on a yearly basis based on who it's better at the time, or at least that's how I see it.

I like that they try to aim higher even if it doesn't work out. Last year with a star signing, this year with a mostly NA roster and next year possibly with a lot of youngsters from the academy.

Also, you prob don't care cuz it's not valorant related but I also like them because I support them in other eSports like League and Warzone where they have a full Latam roster and full Mexican roster, so I don't get the feeling that many say lev it's a NA org

That on top of the news that M80 wasn't paying players and wanted to leave the valorant scene makes sense why they'd just want to get rid of contracts by letting players leave.

Having to pay the wages of 3 (2 now that natank is leaving) benched players plus the 5 playing was enough strain on the economics of the team to then start paying for clauses on top of that

People talk about LATAM talent, yet KRU keeps using the same players we've had on LATAM for years because truth is, currently there aren't any better options. Half their team is literally ex-lev players they had to sign from either tier 2 or straight up steal again like Shyy and Mazino. It's also known that the known cracked talents in Latam had quite indecent clauses which neither LEV nor KRU were willing to pay.

For these reasons and many more is why instead of paying insane clauses or reusing the same LATAM players, LEV just decided to pick up kids and make their own talent from scratch. (Neon, erde and Miradaninja have been in the academy for several years now btw, even before switching to mostly NA players)

Idk about Okeanos but LEV has 3 talented duelists to choose from next season (Ghoul, Neon and Sato). I wouldn't mind having 2 duelists and let the three fight for the 2 spots in tryouts

But the problem is that for 2026, they’re planning to bring up players from the academy who don’t speak English well enough to communicate effectively. That means communication would have to be in Portuguese or Spanish, and I’m not sure how that would work with Tex.

2/3 of the season is over and the team still played like shit due to roll issues with Demon1's lack of flexibility in the duelist role and Rossy was a downgrade in firepower while IGLing the same as/worse than kingg. That shit was not a time issue, it's just a team that was not working,

They needed a duelist that was flexible and since Rossy is not gonna IGL theres no point in keeping him
