From what I know, LEV were recommended a list of coaches and they interviewed every one of them and Goked was the one that sounded the most convincing for the project in the interviews.

It's weird, because if you analyzed his time outs and what LEV did after them, on paper it was mostly good, but it just wouldn't work for LEV. If I had to say why, it'd be because he liked LEV to play slow around fundamentals when players like aspas and Mazino really benefit when you let them off the leash to do risky plays.

Idk if it was just the way he was going about LEV macroplay, but it's crazy how they look more comfortable around Itopata's gameplan.
