Ivy and Zest???? And they have firepower. Lakia is nothing without his lineups and Odin, can't even win duels against Polvi.
EDIT: Stax is also probably better man like come on
There's better players than Lakia. Zest arguably just as good on Sova and can aim way better than Lakia. Zest carried Bleed in extremely close games and clutched way too many rounds for them, bare in mind that Sscary was also on the team
You're telling me that Zest, Beyn,Foxy9 , Buzz, Sayaplayer, Rb and other young talents in Kore's tier 2 league are F/A / UF/As rn and GenG aren't even considering trialing them to replace Lakia? Lakia is basically in the same situation that Sacy was in just a few weeks ago where he was the only replaceable player in a world class team, except he's worse than Sacy. Please GenG, consider Zest/Rb/Beyn at the very least.
Makes sense, alr alr I gotchu guys. Thanks for not clowning on me though lol
Really? I thought he was getting pretty good on senti, he just needed more time. I feel like if they had just kept stax the narrative of Foxy9 being worse than Flashback would be a little bit different, but now I guess we'll never know
I mean Foxy's agent pool is larger, making DRX's role issues easier to solve, no?
Just correcting him but yeah ik that they're going to have conflicts with roles whether it's with mako or Flashback
They can't afford Sscary, but still they should make changes, my god. Get someone who can play raze properly
Am I the only one who thinks that they should've kept Foxy9 to play sentinel? Flashback is good ik but I feel like Foxy9 is just a better option
Rb to BLG imagine
Plays aside, it was very very cool, but istg I can't ignore the amount of throws both teams did. Even in the final round (despite being the play of the year), BOOM threw by pushing him and waiting for the spike to tick away until defusing right away and just holding, just so dang painful to watch.
GenG should consider picking up 1 of these players to replace Lakia tbh, so much more talent
mako, no one even comes close. Ever since the games came out he's been performing like a beast and still did this year even when he had to igl
If we're talking about the best Champions grand final, it definitely is. But if we're talking about the best grand final including other International events, FNC vs LOUD in LOCK/IN was the best without a doubt: OT, comebacks, potential reverse sweeps, pressure, rounds that had you on the edge of your seat, everything was just so good. What made it even better is that FNC won in front of a crowd booing them lol
EG might consider him. Potter has always found hidden gold and talent inside of the most underrated and unknown players (ex. Demon1, Jawgemo, supamen, naturE, Apoth, Derrek, Icy, c0m, Ethan, Boostio, etc.)
Shiro deserves tier 1 most imo. He's shown consistency idk what you're saying when you said famouz is the only consistent one. Shiro is an igl, keep that in mind and he still put up numbers, great HS%, game sense and great mid-round calling.
SPG will get the slot if DFM get relegated, not BOOM
https://liquipedia.net/valorant/VCT/2025/Partnered_Teams
It's all fallen apart for them lmao. All their money going to aspas and whatnot all down the drain
Exactly who I had in mind after I posted this
I think it's an actual law because tier 1 valorant is an actual job now
Duelist or not, OXY is still an amazing player. I guarantee you that if they let him play a sentinel like kj or cypher, he will still do great. Sure, a duelist needs confidence but a good duelist is open to flexibility and adjusting to what their team needs. Sayf is an example for VIT, despite being one of the highest players of EMEA, he still played whatever they made him play because he's a good teammate.
Still going to be very heartbreaking though. I'd understand if it was something like champs for a franchised team because they know they'll get a chance to compete again the following year. For BOOM on the other hand, they're a tier 2 team that fought almost more than a year just to get where they are.
I genuinely believe that BOOM are just better on Bind and will win this all
Chill out, BME just took the lead, my guy
The casters in the lower final of FS vs BME was one of the best I've ever seen. The game felt like a freaking Champions final my god. The emotion, the hype, everything was just sooooo freaking good, I feel like they should've been the ones casting the Grand Final. (These guys aren't bad though)
Mako's game sense is better imo. Plus, mako can igl meaning the value he provides is just way higher than Karon's
Get rid of anyone on the team but if they get rid of mako, they will meet an all time low. No one can even come remotely close to being as good as mako in Korea
They may have been interested for a while but I don't think he's leaving EMEA.
Really? Hmm. If so, they better pick up an igl like Kr1stal
Doesn't riot require AT LEAST 2 players from the team's respective region to play? e.g. since GE is from apac, they need to have at least 2 players from apac on their team. As far as I'm concerned, none of these players are from APAC
I feel like they should make at least 1 change, idk who they pick up or who they replace though because if they don't, they'll probably end up like FNC 2023 not making any changes in 2024 - decent but nothing special
Ohhh, damn alright I can see them winning this entire event if so
Wait, so does this mean they can play with jawgemo by then? I'm kinda confused please explain
Didn't they drop icy? They can't officially play with jawgemo until october 7 because he came from another teir 1 org so who's their 5th?
I will go ballistic if they take sayf away from the role (duelist) that he has dominated on for years. Sayf's raze is much better imo and Derke isn't really that good on neon AND sayf can op more effectively. They should just let derke play yoru or just not sign him at all if that's the case. Moving sayf off of duelist is what caused Vitality's flop of a kickoff and stage 1 and bringing him back to the role is what qualified them for champs.
Oh I see I see. Couldn't find his age anywhere sorry lol
Everyone keeps on saying xeus and kajaak (they are insane, no doubt), but what about Comeback? I was very impressed by how well he did this entire season, he's surely a good option, no?
Good point but I believe he'll progress but I'll just list down the other good replacements for ange1
Anima
zeddy
sociablEE
Rose
Kr1stal
Completely unrelated to the thread and whatever I say has nothing to do with DSG. but isn't leo an initiator scan player who uses odin and phantom most of the time? Maybe that's why his hs% was so low but overall he was still impactful as a player.
I believe he can get the job done if he works hard enough. NAVI was losing rounds because ange1 was losing his own duels, they were playing 4v5 most of the time.
I said "at the very least," meaning they should at least get someone better than ange1 and magnum is arguably better than him, but there are better options than magnum without a doubt, I just meant that they should get rid of ange1 or make him AC
Solid but replace ange1 with someone like magnum at the very least
Is it Emman or Chulo? I can't seem to find any information on who it is. But whether or not the igl is chulo, TS need to prepare a contract for him right now
