bro the stars going up is singlehandedly the best deterrent for me using this site

cned is a small downgrade in the current meta but the move makes sense since sayf wants to play perma-support anyways, so i think its the best they could do.

redgar for enzo, i think at their peak you can equate them, but after results this year i dont mind this move, so yeah i agree with sidegrade sorta

mistic for soulcas is interesting, cause i feel like mistic has always been an all round good player deserving of t1, whereas soulcas had 3 years to show he was great, he had flashes (no pun intended) of being a top t1 player, but they never amounted to anything. this move is a massive W

I think a lot of their performance is gonna depend on the igl side of things and less on the quality of players, thats been the issue with liquid since 2021 tbh

idk i dont think its that deep
im pretty sure mini meant "you" as in "you all"
and consider their mental, the favourites just bombed out losing to the same team twice, its not gonna be sunshine and rainbows

1st prx cuz jinggg's last tourney and would suck to see a team come 2nd place at a GF twice (NV/OPTC exist but atleast they got their one)
2nd loud they beat fnatic which sucks but tbh theyre a good team (+chaadhak)
3rd eg, imo (which some vlr users seem to be unable to comprehend) they come off as a bit boring if you dont really care about the trash talk, (outside the game, obviously they're a good team cuz they made top but i do kinda think ethan is kinda goated

  1. the title is literally "the real reason why fnatic is crap" implying that they're "crap" despite a 4th place finish without "innovating", so in fact this guy clearly did not misunderstand your bait heavy title
  2. Loud, in contention for winning the whole thing took execs and strats from fnatic, most obviously lotus.
  3. you and I don't know anything about the internal structure, the comp isn't the be all end all. internally they have to antistrat, come up with execs, retakes, set plays etc. and thats EXCLUDING the actual practice/scrims they have to do to find flaws and perfect their game.
  4. fnatic were literally the FAVOURITES for this tournament, actual analysts who are PAID TO ANALYSE are saying fnatic are at the forefront of the meta, I think your understanding of the meta is innovating = better, which in SOME cases is true, but if it were completely true we would all be bowing down to na'vi.
  5. the season has been really tight, two weeks is not enough to reconsider your map pool and comps, along with all the things mentioned above. they said in the press conference themselves that they were a bit burnt out, but notably chronicle mentioned that making all international events really takes a toll on how much time they have to practice and improve.

in theory premier is supposed to help with this
but in the end we'll only be able to tell if its worked in 2-3 years

the most logical thing would be for it to be a complete split but i could be completely wrong cause rito

in my opinion the logic that the talent pool comes down from t1 is flawed for valorant specifically
the partner system is explicitly designed for t2 (t3 in the future) to be how the talent pool grows.
also it does make sense that its frustrating to not have that many slots in t1 which is something they said theyll make better in the future as they presented in their 5 year roadmap
https://dotesports.com/valorant/news/vct-5-year-valorant-roadmap-explained
this way quality of play > quantity of orgs/demand, meaning if you truly believe your region is great and deserves more slots youll have the chance to watch them. this is going to ideally be true for all regions (south asia hopium)

yeah, i completely agree agree it would be super hype to see the players, and the song was pretty good it does fit the theme of champs pretty well.
whilst im sure it hits most for the actual players, as a viewer it slightly degrades to the quality.
imo they should stick with the players or make a recognisable mascot type to fill the role of the subject.

im sure most people dont really care but im sure i wasnt the only one that wasnt a bit disappointed with this years vct video (not the song or animation)
last years was so much more interesting with involving the players into the animation
idk just watching a hypothetical story of made up characters making it to masters/champs doesnt seem as hype or creative to me
its a very minor thing but im just wondering what people think

nrg prolly gonna win
but if that <5% chance happens it would be really funny

based but Loud look like they're playing in better form again so I don't really have much hope for navi.

if however for some reason loud play like they did against DRX, whilst having no harbour-viper maps in the pool I could see it being close (but let's be real how unlikely is that)

fair enough tbh, hope you never have a need or want for a vlr account again after today lol

it could very well be him but its most likely not since the account was made today and first post asw, but no way to verify

pacific u could still watch one of the 3 matches tbh and it was groups anyway so not too important matches im assuming
this is the finals so everyone wants to watch it so yh
ima hope emea uses the later start time to make sure this kinda stuff doesnt happen

yh at this point people already have the conclusion that its brazils fault and are just tryna justify it in any way, not much u can rly do but wait for the storm to pass

unfortunately a few bad apples can make the whole batch smell bad, unfortunate side effect of having many fans
dont send for all loud fans just cuz a few of them are being smelly

i will be real i thought they fell off a bit during the regular season (still very good but not as great as champs or lock//in imo), but during playoffs they've looked exceptional, even better than lock//in i would say, I can't wait to see them in tokyo will, be some great games.

defo 100% the best team since theyve been getting to the finals so consistently, but theres always other great teams who'll really be feeling a tournament so it feels unfair to discount other regions. I'll admit even going into lock//in my expectations of loud were super high and fnatic (who ive been supporting since M1 2021) were on the floor, but fnatic simply had a good tournament and i don't expect that to not happen for other teams in the future.

at the end of the day people will cope and hope behind their own region until the sun stops rising, but loud are still a great team. the best valorant has seen so far by a lot. but that doesn't mean they're undefeatable. one of the reasons this game is so enjoyable to watch is because of how unpredictable it is
