I think yay would've still been successful on Jett (as he was before Chamber came out), sure maybe not to the same extent as he was on Chamber, but still at a trophy contending level imo

It's very very unlikely they ban it, it's this rumour that sort of stretches the truth from mainly one article on some random site.
What they want to do is to provide more solutions which may be used as an alternative to the kernel

tbh yeah I agree
to make Chamber work you needed insane mechanics
not to say you don't need mechanics for Neon, but Chamber really highlighted them
So hows he gonna end up on C9 again
Do you have a separate microphone for gaming?
I didn't when I bought them, but even without using the mic the Audeze Maxwells are very good
I completely get why they don't want gambling.
But a skin market would've been a really cool thing, CS has a massive subcommunity for just skins, idk how they would implement it without cases but I'm sure they could've figured something out. tbf that ship has sailed since you defo can't add something like that 4 years in to the game
tbh I don't think this on it's own is something that could kill viewership
But what I think could threaten it is if there's too many agents and the game becomes too complex for the average casual player to understand. I think the only reason League got away with it is because they've had almost 15 years to build a loyal audience (Being one of the first major esports also really helped), and as a casual viewer it's a much easier game to watch if you don't know the champions imo (comparing it to the impact of agents)
I agree that the regions are more global and it defo does have the potential.
What league does so well is make storylines with its players, I think it would really help the Val scene if they focused a bit more on the players and less on the game I talked a bit more about it here
tbh I wouldn't count on it. What I've heard from people who play CS is that in general things are improving, there's way less cheaters in ranked and in general it seems like they're doing more updates. The gunplay is still inferior to CS:GO but if things continue on their current trends I can see them fixing that
Do you think VCT will ever be bigger than LoL esports? If so in how long? (Excluding CN)
(non CN) The worlds finals had 6.95M peak viewers whereas VALs peak viewers (Madrid finals) was at 1.7M
Considering that Val has only been out for 4 years, 25% of League's peak is pretty good. But how much is that going to grow?
Chronicle was a professional athlete (swimmer) before Val, he played games before casually but he's one of the first 'Valorant' pros
oh yeah fs, Derke too as #20 said
those two are so engrained I forgot
ig they don't feel a need to prove themselves to riot
also money (probably the main reason tbh)
enzo was a pretty nice find in 2022 too
I lowkey think it might be some PR thing, like a walmart version of the thing SEN did a while back
'haha guys get PRANKED!! This is actually our real roster!!!!!'
he is a good guy

either they're becoming an affiliate team or...
mans just guessing
T1 have looked amazing so far in this off season
Is it a stretch to say I think they might do better than GENG in 2025?
dw when they play it'll be back
I gotta back FNS and yay for now
what happened to your stars
does this mean no more star celebration threads
we got BulkyLettuce vs Azzelastia before the replay system
if FNS unleashes more consistently its over for everyone else
If they can sell the slot after placing well enough to qualify it would be huge
but from what's been explained so far that can't happen.
There are some benefits (although kinda small). You can instantly be promoted to the t1 team if they need someone (if you're 16+), the org can sell players
C9 Val is so confused
I'm convinced they're money laundering or something
mfs are actively trying to make the worst moves (oxy was their only good recent decision)
I thought this was about him being single and ready to mingle š
literally the next game some reyna keeps on saying the n word
its like I never left EU servers
its a scam for most people since the very very very small improvement isnt worth it
but I had a really specific issue which caused me to get like 200 ping at peak times on my local servers and exitlag was the only thing that could fix it
https://i.imgur.com/gN6JiUP.png
from a game in NA (dont worry about their ranks btw)
using exitlag I can get like 85 on Virginia, going by #3's response roughly 60 of that is because of the Atlantic
I'm thinking of moving one of my accounts from EU to NA to play ranked (I'm sorta fed up with EU ranked)
How much ping do you get to N Virginia and Illinois servers? I want to find out how much ping there is coast to coast
It's rumoured (not confirmed, but still likely) that Fnatic are having some financial troubles. It's presumably the reason Derke had to be dropped
C9 role issues
šš
You're right though they are having those issues, but usually orgs find a way to bail themselves out so I think eventually they'll be fine. Hopefully down the line (Ideally ASAP) they work on something like this
I know you saw fnatic and instantly clicked lol
It's likely his last year anyway (It's been alluded to, but still only a rumour) but this post isn't about him, it's about Chronicle.
Now that I think about it they could push the same narrative with Leo, but Chronicle has more trophies and has had more time in the limelight. Either way they have a claim to fame if they use them right
