95??? wow are you in AB or smth

posted about a year ago

Yeah I'll admit it's a luxury and I completely get it if I seem spoiled by that take. I'm lucky enough to get 10 ping on London 15 ping on Paris and 25 on Frankfurt

thats my ping to NA, I've heard some people from EU queue to radiant on NA servers simply cuz of how toxic people are in EU, so I might try play comp eventually

posted about a year ago

this is the realest take on SEN I've seen

posted about a year ago

maybe it's a grass is greener on the other side type of thing, but I really want to try US servers (with low ping, anything past 30 is completely unplayable for me since I'm not used to it). Clear comms, chiller attitude. It feels like in EU if you don't constantly read the minds of your teammates you'll piss someone off, I swear 90% of the time you can just be doing your own thing playing your site and someone just randomly picks a fight with you because they died on the other side of the map pushing for no reason.

I mean this is a tradeoff you just have to make with any roster that has great players, you can only have one perma duelist. Demon1 is still gonna have his aim if he moves to primarily smokes. Demon1 has already shown a lot of promise on the smokes role. You don't have to look far to see mechanically talented players doing well on smokes (TenZ)

Also as #6 mentioned, Demon1 is great but I think his style is fundamentally mismatched with Neon and Raze

aspas leaving isn't confirmed yet, so I'd hold out hope until there's at least a substantiated rumour indicating that he's going somewhere else

crazyguy, he dragged my goat yay in to some beef that had nothing to do with him (allegedly)

I think LEV has the potential either way, and I am taking the bet that Sayf IGL will end up working in my pred (The odds are against him but if he lets his ego go I think he could defo do it), but yeah if they keep cender I would be a lot more confident in my pred

I can't believe our species used to go out and hunt animals with sticks and stones to stay alive

posted about a year ago

T1 is cooking this off season I think they'll defo have a great year

posted about a year ago

imo: LEV vs VIT
say it now and let's see if anyone gets it right when the time comes

posted about a year ago

don't let this distract you from KOI demon1 guys

posted about a year ago

Aspas likely stays imo, best option for the team and him (now that BLD has fallen through)

posted about a year ago

yeah xeus is verbal with FUT I believe

posted about a year ago

No one can, but no one can say they wouldn't've either. imo they would've gotten first seed in that group, meaning they would've been in a better position than liquid when it came to playoffs. Liquid ended up going home 0-2 in playoffs

posted about a year ago

If they won that 4th map against Liquid in LCQ they could've went on to make a run at Champs, they were looking real good during that LCQ. A deep run at champs would've probably meant they survived in one form or another. 😭😭

I would've liked cender since he was an igl, but kicks is still a decent player, he's not bad at all but on paper he will defo be outshined by the others imo

(even better bring in El Diablo tooπŸ™)

oh shit I didn't even think of that, yeah that makes sense
hopefully Leo is doing better by the start of the season

posted about a year ago

Interesting, I wonder why they can't get kaajak yet

posted about a year ago

Before rumours were for M8 but I think that's no longer possible, I've also seen him linked to APK so I think that's most likely atp

This is a very good analysis, I think it also explains why EMEA really felt left behind this year (EMEA's style has historically been to play slow take info and play over controlled space), the only team which really didn't as much was heretics, they leaned way more into the 'pug style' than any other EMEA team and thus they were the only EMEA team to do well this year. The only teams that managed to pull off the old style was G2 and Champs Fnatic imo, but both fell short eventually.

posted about a year ago

Yeah I saw this too, I think it sums it up pretty well. I always disagreed with people when they said his raw aim was completely bad this year, but at the same time you can only say 'he's the IGL' up to a certain extent when looking at his performances.
I want to see him put himself in to more pivotal situations, sure at first it might not look good, but as time goes on hopefully he will gain experience and become more comfortable.

the name of the event is kind of ironic no

posted about a year ago

honestly I don't see him that much, maybe like maybe 1 in 3 games?

posted about a year ago

I would've fw this but nAts seems super happy on liquid... for some reason. So I couldn't see him leaving, even if it were to join fnatic.

posted about a year ago

I get they might've wanted a different style, but at that point I'd play around with the roles before doing something as drastic as cutting him. It seemed like alfa was more than willing to play duelist if asked to. Afaik Derke is open to learning new agents, he did it for Yoru and I'd expect him to be able to do it with Neon too.

Honestly the main explanation I can think of is: money. I have no idea what the original source is but I saw in a spreadsheet that FNC was having some severe financial issues, and maybe that meant a pay cut for Derke. If the leak about their financial issues is true, imo this is the most likely explanation.

posted about a year ago

I still don't know why Derke was dropped. There's no bad blood between him and the players (at least publicly), and the players/mini have alluded to it being a management decision and not Derke (this could be wrong though). The only plausible explanation is that this was decided long before the end of the season, but even then I don't get why they would make the decision.

posted about a year ago

But... I would be lying if I still didn't think he was a downgrade from Derke, at least in the short term.
I really hope he can prove me wrong so I can eat my words but on paper those are my honest thoughts.

posted about a year ago

imo he proved him self this year, I think he's capable of holding his own on this roster

posted about a year ago

Honestly overall I think this offseason was a success
Even the teams that are on paper worse have decent upset potential

posted about a year ago

If we're talking about his bank account

y1,000,000y

posted about a year ago

Yeah idk why they did that. The only plausible explanation is that they just didn't know. As for training with the main roster and not playing in VCL that was actually allowed (EG did it with their second team)

posted about a year ago

Bleed was supposed to be the richest org in APAC, how did that change over 1 year? Or is this just mismanagement on a humongous scale?

posted about a year ago

From what I've seen I lean towards saying its the latter. (I have no concrete evidence of anything, just my opinion)
Munchkin supposedly was deep in negotiations with GENG to re-sign but they fell through. I'd assume that also applies to Meteor

It wasn't allowed before I think, but it is from this year

t1 is cooking

posted about a year ago

idk what the history was with this but, now I'm curious as to why SEN never trialled him in the first place. It would've made perfect sense

TRAITOR!!!!!

posted about a year ago

Yeah, which is why I think an AC or performance coach will help. Winning anything internationally is a lot further away than making it out of groups and that's what they should be focusing on first.

optic loud drx, chatgpt knows im a 2022 enjoyer

posted about a year ago

I agree, but to see teams like TE FPX and EDG play at the level they did in their first year of franchising is really promising. (I acknowledge that some teams have had an extra year or two but their ecosystem was suboptimal at best). I think VCT has the potential to be one of the most balanced esports in terms of regions. The CN teams remind me of APAC 1-2 years ago, except they seem to be picking up the game even faster

posted about a year ago

He's proven that he can make a decent team, good but I think he needs an AC or someone to help him and the team get that last little push

zjos when are we seeing you on the tier 1 stage
I need to say keke to all your opponents

Yeah, it does. Look at the score lines.
